I know the whole parent pull thing, but my mom kind of let it go when I was around 11, my mom did take me to see my dad play but only in certain places. The first one I went to see my dad play with LA Guns we sat outside the Roxy, I remember it was really hot and muggy. LA in the 80's, there was spandex, aqua net, leather and neon colored clothing all over the place. I remember being in awe because up until that point in my life I had only seen this stuff on TV. Even at 6 I started to get interested in my dad's music, but it wasn't until I was 11 that I started to listen and 12 that I became a full on glam fanatic. Poison and Bach are coming through your town?! Lucky! Tell us how it all went. Still though, the best show I saw was the Gn'R show. That sealed it for me. I was six years old at the time and couldn't go into the Roxy so me and mom sat out back on plastic chairs. I got to hear my dad's band and I got to hear LA Guns, and I saw them too! I remember big hair, leather pants, it was the coolest thing I had ever seen! I don't know if that counts as a concert but it does for me. I also saw GNR in San Francisco with my dad in 1991 on their Use Your Illusion Tour. All of that made a impression on me and I won't ever forget those moments.
