(Thanks for the okay on that one Glamster) I like a lot of different music. I try not to judge people or music. To each his own. I remember when "glam" was new and got all the major crap. I will say this, I like my bubble, it has a small opening in it that allows select things in and out, so, I'm open to other and newer things. My bubble is nice though. It is my comfort zone where I can retreat when the world is just to much. And every band has to follow the edicts of the lable. A prime example of this is Warrant (I know Admin, I always find a way) They caved to the label and did Cherry Pie. it was huge. However, on Dog Eat Dog, they did pretty much their own thing. I love the album. It is really good Jani form. It bit as far as the "scene" was concerned. They did that and Belly to Belly and Ultraphobic -- both with little commercial success. Now they are back, and doing a remake -- basically -- of their first 2 albums. Some of the new bands are great, some of them suck rocks. But, that is my opinion, and as a consumer, I can voice that by not buying their albums. That is the true way to let the labels know what you think. My kids listen to a lot of music, but, they have also been exposed to my 80's "hair band" music. They like it.
