Being born just a year before our dear Freddie died, I never got to see them live as the original band. I am lucky enough to say that i saw Queen + Paul Rodgers in 2005 and 2008. I bought the "Crown Jewels" box set. It contains all their 70's stuff, every song on every album was just great stuff. They used so many different types of sounds and genres for various songs. It made for a interesting and eclectic listen. Still I love "Sheer Heart Attack" and "Stone Cold Crazy" my two favorite songs. If that isn't metal I don't know what is! Brian May's guitar he made himself and it has a sound like no other and Freddie's voice, well it would be hard for me to add what all my friends so eloquently put before me but he could sound like angel but plunge his voice into a demon growl at the drop of a hat. Ever seen the video clip to Bohemian Rhapsody?
