The first 2 Metallica records are great works. But after say ... Master of Puppets I stopped buying their music. It just seemed too political. They turned into the U2 of metal. Every Iron Maiden to me is just masterpieces. I use to listen to number of the beast like 50 times over each day :p It's just my point of view on Metallica, but I get the feeling like they changed so much over the years, their songs became crappier and crappier, their egos grew...They constantly feel the need to insult glam, I remember in an interview or documentary i saw a while back they said that they would kick out and beat up any glam rocker, i heard one guy in the interview say shit like "FUCK YOU, YOU MOTLEY CRUE CREEP" It's all just music, can I not like motley and metallica without being hated on at their concerts? and the "metallica bangers" these obsessed fans who don't see a world beyond metallica, or any other band besides metallica, you like any other band than metallica and they hate you instantly.
