Still my favourite 70s band, i have however learnt to love more bands, and appreciate different efforts and am not as centric as i used to be posting this. But i definitely believe that Mr Scott is still rocking at his hardest today at 60, and even though he was propositioned by a guy wanting to dabble in rock funerals, in the man's own words he will not be giving it up anytime soon. And for anyonee with that fearless non-quitting opinion of their career, earns my highest respects. Others: I confess to liking Eye Games, Call Me and Mother Earth from Cut Above the Rest (an underrated album that would have only been improved had B. Connolly not been fired). Then there's Cover Girl (the B-side to Love is Like Oxygen), which has riffs that sound like Spirit in the Sky and Foreigner's Cold as Ice. Bands like Journey and Status Quo were only support bands to them and that has to tell ya' something about them! Albums to look out for, "Give Us A Wink!" and "Off The Record". Also the U.S version of "Desolation Boulevard", but there are stacks more albums you need to get. The flip sides to many of their singles were quite often more interesting than the 'A' side. Also check out some of 'Andy Scott's' SWEET albums; 'A' and 'Sweet-Life'.....both fantastic albums.
