I saw the Crue a while back and they kicked ass! I even bought The Carnival of Sins dvd so I can wach 'em agian ad agian but my ex girl friend stole it so I guess there's allways the memories. I'd would have given my left nut to have went to both Rocklahomas but that'll never happen because I am to fucking young to have won the tickets on House of Hair!

I think the best Live show I've ever seen was Poison! I seen them for the first time last Summer in Muskegon, Michigan at Heritage Landing. They put on an amazing show...loved every second of it. I also wrote a review for it...here it is;

Ever since I found out they were coming to Heritage Landing in Muskegon, I just had to go. And it was finally here, the day of the concert. After a long day of waiting, it was finally time to head out for the show. We got there about 5:00pm,(we purchased tickets before hand), so we got in the line, waited and waited, more and more people started to come. Soon, the line was so big, it almost went all the way back to where we parked.
Then it's time, they opened the gates, and we started to file in. We were one of the first ones in line, so we got a great place to stand for the show....we were in the front row! That's right....we were off to the right...in the FRONT ROW! I could not believe how good of a spot we attained. After a little bit more waiting, I soon found out that Ratt was NOT opening for them. I was a dissapointed. Instead of Ratt, the opening act was a local band...Orange October. They did a few good songs(most of them covers), and a couple of their original songs that I could have done without. They did covers like, Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", and "Jesse's Girl" by Rick Springfield. About an hour later, they were done with their set, and then their was a long break.

After the break, it was time for...Poison! They cued the lights, Rikki Rocket appeared, and started a beat on the drums, a few moments later, CC Deville and Bobby Dall ran on stage, playing the opening riffs to "Look What The Cat Dragged In". And then, Bret Michaels emerged from an elevated area. The crowd was electric...they brought so much energy to the show...it was great!
They played all of their hits: "I Want Action", "Fallen Angel", "Ride The Wind", "Something To Believe In", "I Won't Forget You", "Every Rose Has It's Thorn", and they also played a few songs from their recent covers album.."Poison'd". Also, CC and Rikki both played their solos to perfection. With an elevated platform, for the drums. They closed out the show with the song "Talk Dirty To Me". They left the stage, and came back for the encore..."Nothin' But A Good Time". Bret said thank you to the crowd, and said that they wanted to come back next year!
Along with the entertainment on stage, some people in the crowd got a little carried away as well. Such as, a near fight, someone having to be pulled over the front barricade/rail, and escorted out., and other moments that are not "appropriate" to discuss here.

But, all in all, everthing sounded pretty good, the guitars loud and on cue, the drums, and Bret's voice. They put on a great stage show, complete with fire and pyro. With energy throughout. What a great experience...it was my first time seeing Poison, and I loved every minute of it. I look forward to seeing them again in the future.

IMO you just can't beat seeing KISS live in concert, it's something every person should see atleast once in their life just to say they did it if nothing else. I've seen them several times and they never disappoint. The pyro and lights are great but the way they just give it up every show to make sure you get your money's worth is what keeps me going back to see them live.

IMO however, the single greatest concert live is without a doubt, Trans Siberian Orchestra. I'm telling ya they put on a show that will absolutely blow your mind. The light, pyro, and stage presence of all the members is second to none and they sound just as good if not better live then their albums. I see them every year.

The greatest show Ive ever been to is a 3-way tie.

1.)Seeing Motley crue for the first time
2.)Seeing Machine Head, Megadeth, and H&H at PNC last year (partly because I managed to sneak into the front row)
3.)Iron Maiden at the Izod center earlier this month (march). Amazing concert experience and Maiden always deliver the goods

In my experiences, the 2nd best live band was WASP. Outright madness. To me, to really garner 100% appreciation of a live act, you gotta be close. I just have a hard time rock'n out at arenas.

First off...I'd recommend anyone NEVER turn down a chance to see KISS.

    I saw DIO's Sacred Heart tour...giant animated dragon.Awesome show.

I saw Ted Nugent play the Wildwood Convention center in 84 and boy was it loud and a bit X rated.

The KISS Halloween show at Dodgers Stadium with the 3 D Glasses was interesting (L.A.,199

Bruce Kulick played in Union pretty regularly at the Coconut Teaszer in West Hollywood.

OMG, I've seen so many bands in concert, starting with Bon Jovi and Skid Row in 89(ish). Summerfest (in Milwaukee) was the best back in the late 80's early 90's. Some of the shows I remember are L.A. Guns, Hericane Alice, Tyketto, Danger Danger,
In recent years, there has been Alice Cooper, Quiet Riot, Jackyl and Firehouse.

Anyway, other shows I've seen are Motley Crue, Poison, Mike Tramp from White Lion, Cinderella, Whitesnake, Winger, Slaughter, Kiss, Stryper, Dokken, Ratt, Warrant, Aerosmith, Tesla, Queensryche, Tangier, the Cult, Enuff Znuff, Pretty Boy Floyd, Faster Pussycat, Def Leppard, Damn Yankees, Cheap Trick, Great White and many more.

I think the best were Alice Cooper, Poison, Cinderella, and definitely Kiss. Although they are not considered glam, White Zombie put on a great show.

The best live performance I have ever seen remains to this day:
Slayer 2001, at LaZona Rosa, Austin, TX

They had added an extra night due to overwhelming ticket sales. It was an intimate venue for Slayer, unlike the arenas that they usually play. I got right the fuck up front and caught 2 solid hours of a non-stop full balls setlist. The unified and directed energy that they spat out was mind numbing. All the timing, the starts and stops, the trade-off solos, the unisonic head and body thrashes, combined with the untethered trademark power the band possesses, is burned securely in my memory. I'm still getting my moneys worth...

"See, this is what sucks about being young. No money and no form of transport.
Ergo, no concert. From what I've seen on dvds and such, KISS and Alice Cooper are the best. I'd really love to see them live, KISS really know how to please an audience and get them involved. And Alice, well, his theatrics are simply awesome.
I've been to one concert, which was for my birthday this year, and that was Paul Stanley. It was such a great experience, he really knew how to interact with the audience and make us laugh I love the audience participation, when he makes us scream "YOU!!" after he sings "I waaAAaaaaAaant...""- SickThing

Just a suggestion but I never hear of these tours. If anyone gets wind of a tour coming up or a special show (like the Brad Delp tribute, which I would have given my septum for) could you post it up brightly for everyone to see??
You just can't beat a bit of Slade.- gjbrum

You can beat a bit of Slade with a lot of Sweet. Sorry, bud, but Slade were right up there with Sweet and both ruled the glam world.
