The glam metal acts that were more "radio friendly", white-leather wearing, purple-spandex wearing, makeup wearing, etc.</p> <p>They were more from the denim &amp; leather glam metal school like post-"Theatre of Pain" Motley Crue, L.A. Guns, Faster Pussycat, W.A.S.P., and Tesla.</p> <p>And ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE -- Never forget that Slash auditioned for POISON once upon a time! Van Halen especially, and Vai are in a league all their own.
