I think it is kinda cool that bands are resurrecting this genre. It is amazing when you see the amount of new scandanavian glam bands that are doing it the old school way. I mean, I think 70's I think silver platform boots, space-suits and glitter! Not to mention Bowie & T Rex. 80's is allll about the big hair and the spandex! I wasn't aware we had new glam bands out there really though some do start to appear that way. I think Marilyn Manson can be counted as a form of Dark Glam. He's not Goth, that's for sure. He's gone so far as to alter his look to the extreme, even copying Bowie himself and admitting he was his childhood hero! Now, I don't listen to a lot of the newer bands out there but visually, Tokio Hotel looks VERY glam.
