Which bands back in those good ol' 80s did you meet ? and which ones were really cool ?
I met Ciderella, Poison, Quiot Riot, Kiss, Stryper, Reo Speedwagon, Motley Crue,Kix, L.A. Guns, and don't know if anyone had heard of this band Helix, they were so cool to meet and hang with .. And I would have to say they all were really cool .. but Stryper were the sweetest guys you would ever want to meet :)

So far...I've met everyone who's ever been an official KISS member with the exception of Vinnie (Cusano) Vincent. (Eric Carr was by FAR the kindest of that bunch....I got to hang out with him after Crazy Crazy nights was taped *my 2nd rock video ever*)But Eric was hanging out at the Rainbow a lot when KISS was recording that album....

I met Mick Mars from Motley Crue on Sunset Blvd. one nite.

I met the bassist from Dokken,Jeff Pilson, at the Cathouse.(YEARS later he would be in the house band Steel Dragon, for the film Rock Star, that I also had a few brief walkons, in.

So maybe I shouldn't count musicians I've worked with....

I met Ozzy at the Sunset Marquis one day while scoping out KISS....Ozzy was VERY friendly and showing off his tattoos.

I first met Gene Simmons at that same hotel...we're talkin 1987 here.

I've seen David Lee Roth at the Cathouse but he was bodyguarded and surrounded by normal girls.Guns n Roses hung out at the Cathouse too.One of my stripper friends allegedly dated him but now I wonder if she told the truth.

I met one of the original guys in London...(Nikki Sixx's band before the Crue) a guy by the name of Nadir....something about coke (not the beverage) and a limo but it was really quite innocent...and thats a good thing but I'll STFU now and not gossip.

Oh I almost forgot! Some of the Def Leppard guys were in the Hollywood Guitar Center to get their hands in the RockWalk....I got a few signatures on my Pyromania t-shirt.(I was too shy to approach Brian May.)The employees of Guitar Center actually told ME the DL guys were in the store or I'd never have even thought to try.But I am not one to ask for autographs....I figure if somebody wants to talk to ME they can approach ME....Southern California is crawling with rock stars and they don't wanna be bothered, plus their mostly married or dating anyway.

On the set usual protocol is speak when spoken to....

    Leathur,
I am so envious of you!! I'd do ANYTHING to have been around the strip at that time!!

And you were an extra on ROCKSTAR!!!? That's one of my fave movies. Are you able to tell us all which scenes we can see you in?

I have to try and remember....
I've met 6 of the 9 members of KISS numerous times(unfortunately I never got the chance to meet Eric Carr or Mark St. John (both R.I.P) or Vinnie - but there's still a chance with him)
Also Motley Crue, Stryper, Bas Bach, Alice Cooper...these are the ones that meant a lot to me. There's a lot more, but I don't know how important some of the people I've met might be to others. I've had the pleasure of meeting, partying and working with a bunch of Australian rockers too, but again, how valid these are in the international world, I'm not to judge. If anyone wants to see I have a lot of pics on my slideshow on my Myspace

Aaaaaah, Revenge tour!! Every video from that tour I've seen is mind-blowing. Of course, the album is awesome, too. :D
As a big observer of their work, I believe it was one of their greatest tours. :)
Speaking of them, 2012 will bring another tour. Looking forward to it. :D :D Maybe I'll even meet them. :D

Joey Johnny Dee and Marky Ramone. I was backstage at their concert at The Fillmore in San Francisco. Great Guys. A shame the Ramones are dead today.

Sebastian Bach and Jon Bon Jovi were at Big Al's .. a stripper bar on San Franciscos North Beach.

Ozzy Osbourne, he was walking around the seats and mingling with the crowd during Rob Zombies set at Ozzfest.

Ronnie James Dio , I had passes to go to the aftershow party at the Oakland Coliseum on his Last in Line tour back in 1983. He just walks up, shakes my hand and says " good evening, my name is RONNIE james Dio thank you for attending tonights performance I hope you enjoyed yourself , and you are .... " one of the most polite people I've ever met.

Lemmy Kilimeister of Motorhead and Wendy O Williams backstage at The Omni in Oakland. He's got a great personality. He asked if anyone knew a decent pub to go,, I told him of one and ended up playing pool with him. I miss Wendy. She was a real nice lady. This was in 1984 sometime.

Gene Simmons of Kiss, he was the keynote speaker at Concrete Foundations Forum in Los Angeles. I didn't care for him at all. I just asked him after his speech if I can get a pic next to him, he ignored me and went right for the girls. He only said hello to me. But he did notice I was wearing my Dynasty tour shirt from 1979.

Alice Cooper, I met him at the Pebble Beach pro am celebraity golf tournament. Great guy.

Lita Ford , sort of. I saw her playing blackjack at a table at the MGM Grand hotel Casino in Las vegas. I played a hand with her and four other people. Then she left.
