Weird, I thought I answered this months ago, but I don't see myself in the thread...I must be confusing it with a similar thread at another board.
Anyhoody..
My first concert was the BeeGees, in 1978, Portland Oregon.
I was 7, and my mom took my brothers and I.
Despite living in Oregon for nearly 2 years, that was the first time I remember smelling ganja.

My first first show would have been the Aussie band Icehouse in, ooh, about 1987 I think? I was about 11, and right up the front, start as you mean to go on lol!
My first GOOD show was GNR with Skid Row and Dead Flowers supporting, in 1993, age 16. I won tix by writing a short story, so my mum sussed it out that I could travel to Aucland on a bus that her best friend's son and his mates had hired. So here was me, sweet sixteen, innocent as, travelling 500kms away from home with a busload of weird bogans and a 40 gallon drum filled with beer and ice. It was freaking amazing if not scary as hell lol!

You shouldn't talk to me. Find better company. There's better people to know. You'll only end up like Rimbaud. Get shot by Verlaine...Posted 3 years ago # -

My first concert was Jackyl at O'Malley's Corner. I'll never forget that night cause I was so pissed when I got in. I got there at 6 PM and at midnight I was turning 21. Even though they knew that 6 hours from now I would be legal, they still would not let me drink. Yet my girlfriend at the time was only 18 and had a fake I.D. Of course they let her drink..LOL She got wasted and I drank Coke during the show. It was a great concert anyways and a great birthday present.

KISS in 1977. I was only 10 years old. My cousin took me. I always wanted to play the drums until I saw ACE with the smoking guitar. Soon after that I began playing guitar. It was a life changing experience.

Well, talked to my mother today, I thought Warrant/Crue 1989/1990 was my first concert. Turns out the when I was VERY young, my cousin was supposed to be babysitting me. (I was less than 3) He had tickets to see Alice Cooper with his girlfriend, but she had broke up with him so he took me! No wonder I love Alice also.
