KISS was the first rock band I discovered. I was seven when Psycho Circus came out. I bought it because I liked the artwork. I slowly got into KISS big time. Today, I've got all 4 Alive! albums, Hotter than Hell, Love Gun, Creatures of the Night, Lick It Up, Animalize, Asylum, Revenge, and, of course, Psycho Circus. They are one of my all-time favorite bands, hands down one of the best. End of story.

I went to my first KISS concert last night. It was fuckin' awesome!
Although my brother had a problem with my enthusiasm. He was like "Did you have to squeal in my ear?" well DUH. He should've known better and blocked his ears every time Eric Singer came up on the screen  Oh and we got free donuts afterwards :D
I nearly cried during Shock Me, I was so confused.. it's my favourite song, but it's ACE'S SONG, not Tommy's. I didn't know whether to enjoy it or sit there scowling.....
Anyhoo, I've been such a pathetic little fangirl all day today telling my friends how Eric said he loves me.. well, he said "Brisbane, KISS loves you!" but that's close enough, it's just not very specific.

OH and I think I saw Stanley there.. or at least someone who looks like him.
Short guy, long fuzzy hair, button-down shirt... Was that you, Al?
I was pretty easy to spot.. freaky little girl, pink eyeshadow, black lips, grey miniskirt, fishnets, tiny black top that says "KISS MY ASS"...

    Hey Gang,
A really quick Hi from an internet cafe in Sydney! In the middle of the KISS tour - 2 down one to go tonight! Lots of stories to tell, but the highlight has been getting a picture of all four of the guys backstgae in make up!! I'll see if I can upload it here, if not will do so when i get home.

SickThing, that sounds like me. I was in the complimentary ticket section to the right side of the stage. Or did you see me out front or backstage? Either way you should have said Hi - would have loved to have met you!!

I wish I could've gotten a picture with Eric.. though if I hugged him I'd never let go.
And I can just picture him filing a restraining order against me :|
Nah, I'm not that much of a stalker, though I do think I'd freak him out a bit.

KISS is my favorite band of all time. The funny part is that I did not become a KISS fan until Revenge. That is my favorite KISS album ever. It was then that I decided to get every album they ever made. It's been no lokking back since then. I have even help recruit new mwmber to the KISS Army. One being my ex-wife who saw KISS with me in Lexington, KY. Another two to join is my girlfriend and her 3 y/o daughter. She has watched KISS Meets the Phantom so many times that she has half the movie memorized. Her favorite song is Shout it Out Loud.

KISS is also the first hard rock band I ever got into. I SO LOVE them! They are the very best! I didn't even know they wore makeup the first time I saw them. My first experience was when my friend next door and I were watching TV and I flipped it to MTV and saw Unplugged. I think I was about 12 then. Oh yah, my friend from next door, she started whining begging me to listen to NIRVANA instead. I told her it was too late cause Kurt was already dead. Yeah, insensitive, but hey, it was KISS!

My parents never listened to KISS, though they bought me a helluva lotta albums! Actually when I was 14, we went to Cancun and we went to this mall where CDs were all like, $5.99!! So I bought a bunch of imports, and I have the Mexican/International Greatest KISS, Carnival of Souls, and a whole bunch of the 80s albums I mercilessly played on the (whoa!) CD player we had in our room in the hotel.

I've been to 10 KISS shows, which I think is pretty impressive for a chick who got into them without her parents, friends, or an older sibling. My closest seats were 10th row in Houston, TX; I met a friend on a list on yahoo! called KiSS_girltalk where we obsess about how gosh-darn-smokin' the guys hair, body, mustache, tongue, hip replacement (kidding!) is. Anyway, we both decided to make signs and while the week passed I learned she went to bartending school, and we would watch BOOTLEG (ooooh!) videos while I downed shots of vodka everytime Gene would stick out his tongue and she would have to drink an equivalent of a shot of beer everytime Paul would pout his lips or shake his ass. Oh yeah, and my sign said, "F--K ME GENE" and hers said "F--K ME PAUL" (as if you younger ones than I don't know an f-word that end in "k"), and everyone loved our signs. A whole bunch of guys introduced themselves to us as being named "Gene" or "Paul". The signs didn't work for backstage, but if I had vodka for everytime Gene saw my sign, I might've had alcohol poisoning! :P

Oh yeah, and when I went to this show (tribute band) with my other friend, Shandi, we were seeing my (former) boyfriend's band called Shock Me. This was when I was 21/22-ish, and he played Peter in the band. Oh, and when he played he was only looking at me and all that lovey-dovey crap. It was pretty fun driving back to his house in VA Beach, cause everyone on the road thought that either Peter Criss was holding my hand or driving a really old car with Gene Simmons in the back. But anyway, this guy at the show kept asking for them to play "Freebird", then he kept shouting, "Who Wants to Be Lonely" and FINALLY Donnie aka. Paul goes, "Apparently you do, so shut up and stop requesting Freebird!"

Sorry I rambled on. I just so love them!

Kiss is my 1st love. No matter what decisions they (Gene & Paul) make, I'll always love em. Yeah I'm upset that Ace & Peter aren't there. Tommy should not be in the band, bring back Bruce and take off the make-up. The magic is over.
