Tesla are my fave band of all time & if Def Leppard can be considered glam then i think Tesla can be considered Glam as they came out of that environment that existed at the time. They are by far the most crimnally underated band of all time & should be much more successful then they have been. Every one of there releases has stood the test of time & been much better then some releases by other bands who released crap but still were successful. They are still rocking just as hard in 08 as they were in 88 & judging by there recent cd & dvd release Tesla will still be Cummin Atcha Live for a long time to come.

Five Man Acoustical Jam was an awesome cassette! We listened to it over and over in college and had some serious "karaoke" sessions in our living room while drinking Southern Comfort and Mountain Dew!

I have loved everything I heard by Tesla, but I am not very familiar with most of their work. While I don't know if I would quite consider them to be glam rock, they are still an awesome band from what I know of them. They don't seem to be as big of a name as they should be though.

I just bought their new CD yesterday and i was hopeing that it would sound as great as their other albums but it doesn't realy sound like the Tesla that i love, but usually bands new albums don't so i wasn't suprised. But Tesla is an awsome band and yeah i agree they should be more popular than they really are.

Tesla are plainly part of the Rawk Dude network, but no, they're not glam, and that was part of their marketing angle. Years later, singer Jeff Keith (I think) protested that they weren't trying to run down glam (he mentioned that he liked Poison), just to distinguish themselves from it. Now he tells us...

I always appreciated Frank Hannon's little acoustic preludes to "Love Song" and "Little Suzie". (I know it's both of them, but AFAIK the impetus came from Frank.) If you like that sort of thing [SOUND OF AXE GRINDING], check out a guitarist from Minnesota named Leo Kottke (a favorite of Garrison Keillor's, actually). Like Frank times 5, with a voice as unlike Jeff Keith's as you can get. Been around forever, but doesn't look like it.

I was just listening to Tesla today. My favorite song is Edison's Medicine. Jeff Keith is an extremely underrated vocalist in my opinion. Tesla, itself, is a really underrated band. They're fantastic.

The new Tesla album "Forever More" is really good. "Pvt Ledbetter" is my favorite track.

    I love Tesla

Love Song and Signs were the only songs I cared for at first until I heard What You Give which sparked my interest in Tesla. Call me crazy but I prefer Tesla over Aerosmith since I saw both bands get compared at other sites.
