What is up with the Chinese democracy? I have heard a song from that album about a year ago. Does anybody know what the release date is? Take care.

Axl has taken the expectation at such a high level, that he probably fears the reception to the album will not be as positive as he wants.

omg! i come from a Gn'R Forum [where i saw the ad for this website, which is how i joined] and every day all day there is JUST theories about when this is coming out! some believe never, some believe soon, some believe not for a few years. it has had a few 'release dates' before [years ago] but they never went through. the last public thing axl said about chinese democracy was almost 2 years ago, when he said something along the lines of 'the album will be released soon, and if not i will keep you posted with a release date', and still no word.

Axl is a certified nut job, but what else is new? All that these delays are doing is making the anticipation that much greater, so that it will never match up when it is released. Had this album come out aroound 1998-2000, the timing would have been perfect in my opinion.

The release date is yet to be announced and after hearing the stuff a dj friend of mine in L.A. sent me it'z not worth the wait.

I remember how last year, Axl was promising that Chinese Democracy would be out "by the final Tuesday in 2006" but we all know how far that went. Seriously, I wonder if Axl himself even believes what he says half the time.

Ugh, I don't even care if it comes out, because nothing could compare to the original GNR. I'd be interested in hearing it, but since I've heard some of the new stuff that's leaked out onto the internet, or just judging by hearing current GNR do their old songs, it probably wouldn't be something I'd sit down and listen to for 3 hours like with the old GNR stuff. I almost cried when I heard the new "Guns N Roses." I completely support Axl, cause I'll always love him, but to be honest, I really don't like the new GNR.

I like the new gnr it sounds really good, even when they played the songs live, it has been a long wait and I cant wait till chinese democracy will come out, its taken alot of hard word and rocking out, and anyway axl is talented enough to get it together.

I love Axl, I love the old GN'R and I was pretty damn amazed with the new GN'R. They put on a hell of a show, and Izzy was there too!! I have faith that the album will be a masterpiece.

people still like gnrs but i mean it is a bit stupid that we've all been waiting for this album. but then again axl proberly has high expectations that he feels the album is not good enought. i dont know but what ever comes out at least we have the new gnes to air guitar too.

Axl was pissfarting around a lot post-production when they were making UYI. The long wait is more frustrating than surprising.

I heard a few tracks that leaded out, I honestly liked them.Nothing like the old GnR that's for sure, but I'll always be a fan and an Axl supporter/lover.I'll buy the new album whenever it comes out, still waiting.He said it's finished, but him and the record company couldn't agree on the marketing or some shit.Somehow I highly doubt we'll see it by the end of this year.
