Howz about this one. I remember my dad having this vinyl because it had uncle Sam squeezing a ho blonde's ass in cut off denims and a halter top. I own the CD now but I am keeping my eyes out for that vinyl. Off of "Want Some" Roxy Blue's "Rob the Cradle", kind of a Van Halen rip off song this is a theme for all those guys you see with sunglasses, pale skin, nasty mustaches, balding scalps sitting in dirty yellow vans in front of the high schools of America...well actually pretty much everywhere!

You have awesome musical tastes Dash! Mine run in the same direction, you are the only other person I know outside of myself who has discussed Aldo Nova in a long time. Savatage, House of Lords, Trans Siberian etc. Awesome stuff! Everything you posted I have listened to and love. Keep exposing them, me I have so many CD's sometimes I forget which bands are which if you know what I mean.

so im pretty sure that the only song that 80% of the people on here know by autograph is Turn Up The Radio.so,heres a gem from Sign In Please.the keys on this are fuckin insane.
And a Fantastic song by Thunder.this song may fool you starting out slow, but it picks up at 1:30.such a smoothe mellow guitar solo, this song is trully kickass.
This isnt my fave Asphalt Ballet song, they dont have a vid on youtube for it.its called Blue Movie.but this ones pretty good too:
Ill go current with these next few.Danny Vaughn from Tyketto, these r my fave 3 tracks from From The Inside:
Now id like to call these next guys Southern Glam.call them wat you want, but they fuckin rock, their guitars are heavy, and their solos kick fuckin ass.
and one from the second album.

the solo in this one gives me goosebumps every time:
For any fans of Pearcy
AKIRA! MAN HE CAN SHRED!!! right from Lightning Strikes:
Baton Rouge,a band that sadly no one knows.Lights Out On The Playground is a phenominal album.
and another one for all the Warrant haters.this was an early Warrant song.im glad jani put this out.HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS??!!!

my fave twisted sister album is Love Is For Suckers.so heres some off of it.i couldnt find an actual video for the title track, all thats on youtube for it is this anime vid:
then theres this one,but i couldnt find the other one i love, which is Im So Hot For You:
and the great Lita Ford.LOVE that chorus:
and my fave from her on Dangerous Curves:
She Fuckin SHREDS on this song:
now im not very religious, but this next one is fucking badass, and is one of the main reasons that i still listen to this album alot:
and my ALL-TIME FAVE Def Lep song from THE VERY BEST album they ever put out,High N Dry,which is more metal than anything else they did:
Posted 2 years ago # -
What about this band. I barely hear about these guys but their awesome! Their from Canada and their called Killer Dwarfs. What a cool name, anyways they got some airplay on Mtv back in the day but they deserved success because these guys just plain rocked! So here is a vid for "Dirty Weapons" the title track of the album and this will go to show they did indeed rock!

and my personal faves by Junkyard from Sixes,Sevens,& Nines:
most of the time that i play this one,i end up breaking a stick, haha.a fun one to play:

not glam, its thrash, but this song could easily be by any glam band out there.its just an awesome ballad:
one from Enuff Z'Nuff, off of my personal fave choice of album of theirs,Strength:
altho,i do like the ballad on the S/T:
and another non-glam one for any Paul Gilbert fans(former guitarist,or MEGASHREDDER is a better title, of Mr. Big,for those of you who dont know him).this song is cool cuz if you had no idea who it was,and u were judging by how it starts out,ud swear it was maiden.awesome, awesome song, amazing guitar player, and TERRIFIC album.this one should be in everyones catalog:
Posted 2 years ago # -
and if that gets u off, then take a listen to this one,cuz this one is just mesmerizing.yes,mesmerizing.and fucking awesome:
Posted 2 years ago # -
Dash, you recomend some awesomely rad stuff!
Posted 2 years ago # -
thanks! everytime i post this stuff,im hoping someone is going to actually listen to it,so im glad people are actually doing so.Ive got over 800 cds and i figure i got stuff that alot of people here dont, so i might as well share the goods and spread the word on alot of the unknown stuff.this next one is by a band called Starbreaker, which includes,to me,one of the greatest singers of all time,Tony Harnell, formerly of the band TNT.these guys started in 2004,so theyre still fairly newer.i bought this particular album,Love's Dying Wish, right when it came out in 08,based on the packaging that said Tony Harnell's Band.right there,i was instantly drawn to it.bought that shit and took it home and listened to it....MASTEPIECE.seriously,that album is killer.every track is awesome.after research,i found out that it was actually their 2nd album,so they werent thatnew.but here's a couple tracks off of it.hope it pulls u in like it did to me:
unfortunately i didnt find my fave one on youtube, which is Beautiful Disaster,so ull have to just pick this album up.seriously,u should.now this next one is one from the band Tony was in before Starbreaker, called Westworld, which features Bruno Ravel of Danger Danger.this is a great song:
and of course i gotta throw a TNT one in here,so people know how he sounded in the 80's,which is EXACTLY THE SAME!:
so basically, this post is a tribute to one of the greatest singers ever.i shouldnt say tribute cuz hes still alive,so i guess we'll say that this post is dedicated to showing my appreciation of himPosted 2 years ago # -
Pretty cool tunes, Dash! Starbreaker's "The Day Belongs To Us" sounded like Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life" meets Queensryche and/or Dream Theater. Damn good band!
Here's some shit I always get a kick out of -- it's damn near Spinal Tap-like music!! It's my fellow Texans -- the Cowboys From Hell -- PANTERA...In their Glam Metal days in the early 80s.
Posted 2 years ago # -
i think this next one will please all the die hard def lep fans on here, like myself.this is the most underrated song they ever made.i say that cuz its on Hysteria, an AMAZING album that has so many hits on there that this gets overshadowed:
and now a "new school" one for the Buckcherry fans.this is off of Black Butterfly:
I actually own this album,From The Moon To The Sun, and its not great.its a lil too mellow for me,as a Winger fan.but this is clearly not Winger, just as Kip prolly wanted it.this is the best one off of it.not awesome, but its pretty cool.again, dont expect it to sound Winger-like.ull be seriously dissappointed:
Posted 2 years ago # -
Speaking of "new school" stuff -- well sort of... Here's some stuff from Slash's new album. Guest vocalists ranging from Ozzy, Kid Rock, Ian Astbury, Chris Cornell to (gulp!) FERGIE of the Black Eyed Peas!
Posted 2 years ago # -
the ozzy one is the best one off that cd.next to the steven adler/alice cooper one.now ive stated how im a huge fan of 80's Jovi and hate the newer stuff, but i own the entire catalogue just because, and this one is a badass ballad off of Have A Nice Day.other than the title track, this is the only other song on there that good:
and this one from the album that i feel is their last decent one,Keep The Faith.the title track,in my opinion is the weakest song on it.dry county and bed of roses being the standout tracks, this one gets buried in the mix.so here ya go:
the only good hard rock song on These Days:
and for all the Ted Poley fanatics on here, like myself.(Danger Danger vocalist, for those who dont know him)this album is killer.bought this when i came out.the guy who checked me out actually said to me,"you know who this is?" haha.hes like,"i thought i was the only one who knows this guy",haha.so here's some off of it.its basically a more ballad-y version of Danger Danger:
the title track:
dont let the intro fool ya on this one:
and my personal fave one, especially to sing to.and the most Danger Danger-like song on it:
here's another shredder for ya.Michael Schenker.for those who dont know this guy,his brother is rudolf schenker of the scorpions.michael has played in the scorps at one time, and was in UFO.this guy is fucking incredible at shredding and the Mcaulley-Schenker era was my favorite of his.i just dont like gary barden's voice.anyway, here's the Mcauley-Schenker Group:
some badass shredding, Layla covered by Schenker:

Here's my favorite W.A.S.P. ballad.
Here's a couple of great tunes from Badlands, featuring one of my favorite guitarists--Mr. Jake E. Lee! (R.I.P. Ray Gillen. You were a hell of a singer...
)Posted 2 years ago # -
i havent posted in awhile,so i figured i would.thought i would post some non-glam stuff.this is a song that could stand next to anything that is glam.great slow song by a thrash band:
im not sure if ive said it somewhere on here before, but ill say it now.im a huge megadeth fan,and i like megadeth over metallica.i like metallica, but i only really "LOVE" the first albums with cliff.that was brilliant stuff they had goin at the time.but here are a couple great songs from megadeth that i love that not everyone knows:
im not sure if there is any other Blind Guardian fans out there, but i hope to make some of you fans with these next couple.off of a trully amazing album that i play all the time,Nightfall In Middle Earth:
and for anyone who doesnt know Mountain, theyre the ones that sing Mississippi Queen.this is my fave song by them, and its fun as hell to play drums to.and Leslie West is a fucking badass guitar player, and he shows it on this one:
getting back on track here with the next one.Faster Pussycat.cant find my fave song from Whipped on youtube, which is Madam Ruby's Love Boutique, but here's another good one from Whipped:
and my fave track from Aerosmith's Nine Lives:
and a couple of my faves from Firehouse's Hold Your Fire:
and one from Union.i hate how people dog Corabi.he's a fucking incredible vocalist:
some poison for ya.my second favorite song off of Flesh & Blood:
and of course my favorite one off of Flesh & Blood.so brilliant to start off a song slow like this:
i was on a run today, and this song came on,and i swear,it got me so fucking pumped up that i went an extra lap playing air drums the whole way, hahahaha.this song is so killer! played my drums to it today and broke a stick i was so fucking pumped! :
and of course,i have to end it with some killer guitar playing in power metal with Dream Evil,Firewind, and Hammerfall:
Posted 2 years ago # -
one from Kix's Blow My Fuse that is fun as hell to play drums to.a very Poison sounding tune:
I LOVE this album.i suggest that everyone trys to get this.this doesnt show the first part here on youtube tho.its Monkey Business that morphs into Godzilla.Seb Bach def. does it justice.the rest of the album is just PHENOMINAL.like i said, try to get ur hands on it:
not glam, but i love them.Ripper Owens sings on this album,The Glorious Burden, and this is just an awesome song:
and another one from The Glorious Burden:
my fave guitar player, with Nelson singing.yea,i like NELSON! i kno they take alot of shit for some reason.this is an awesome album by Lynch tho.some fantastic guitar playing:
speaking of Nelson:
and some Snakepit for ya:
for anyone who hasnt heard anything off of Dokken's Hell To Pay,this is the best song on there:
my all time fave Slaughter song is Real Love, but this is my 2nd fave:
All the Jake E. Lee fans here will appreciate this one.i love this song:
