    Anyone remember a band called Queensryche? They were one of my all time favorite bands of the 80's. I'm not so sure they belong in a "Glam Band" forum though, but I think they are certainly worth mentioning!!

    If you are just getting into these guys don't get anything past "Empire". I know bands need to grow, but who knows what they were thinking on the albums after "Empire" You should really check out "operation Mindcrime" (the first one}

    Queensryche is my fave band, absolutely love them!!
    The best albums are The Warning, Rage for Order, and the 1st Operation Mindcrime to me is THE best concept album ever!!! I could listen to that album, which I have, a 1/2 a million times, and still love it just as much every time!
    Amazing band! And yes Geoff Tate's vocals are phenominal!!

    I got their first EP (Vinyl) in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.....I discovered this band via a rock radio station there....

    I love Operation Mindcrime....had a stripper friend who would dance like a maniac to it, so when I hear tunes from that record I can see her routines.

    Haven't heard their most recent stuff.Shame on me.

    And yes Geoff Tate is like yum. (IS he still????I hope???)

    This is NOT my beeswax...or nothin'......but *I* feel Aniseed is DEFINITELY worthy....and knowlegeable on how the boards work and she's a great netizen...so to my way of thinking it makes sense to ME.....

    The powers that be are smart to have her aboard.

    Queensryche supported KISS for 56 shows in late '84 on the Animalize tour.

    Hey pebblesdavis.....I have seen Queensryche live about five or six times. Most recently the Operation Mindcrime 1 & 2 Tour. Unbelievable. The first time I saw them was in '89 opening up on the Metallic--And Justice For All Tour. They kick ass!!! I have met them all backstage and they are the coolest people ever. So down to earth. My second favorite band of all tme!
