what ever happened to Iggy? I haven't heard anything from him in a while, I guess it's probally because I don't have any music channels on my tv but I haven't seen a new album from him in a while.

He reunited with the original Stooges Scott and Ron Asheton in 2003, with Mike Watt of the Minutemen playing bass - Dave Alexander died in the 70's. Their last CD was "The Weirdness" Virgin/EMI released March 2007. No video released for it. He plays the Euro festivals mostly, Coachella, Lalopalooza, east and west coast gigs. Still stagediving at 61! No eyeliner like his early days, or those with with Bowie, but highlights in the hair. His last gig was last night in Cannes. He STILL wants to be your dog :!:

Iggy is the freaking king of Glam Punk! I know everybody is going to say New York Dolls and trust me, I am a fan of them. Iggy was just crazy, he'd one time called himself the "Trailer Trash Intellectual" which is pretty cool. Consider myself that too!

Crazy is the light way to explain anything about Iggy. He very much fascinates me as a musician but he is not the kinda guy you bring home to Mami.

    Ron Asheton RIP :(

Anyone who claims that Iggy Pop is anything less than a legend is a fool, and they need to brush up on history class! Truly one of the rock greats, and a one of a kind artist in general. Either as a solo act or with The Stooges, he is a total legend!

Condolence letters to Scott and Kathy Asheton and Iggy will be printed out Saturday and taken to Michigan Sunday by Henry McGroggan, their representative and hand delivered. Send them here:
