i was walking around my local town today...and went into HMV- our local media shop and saw a real ringer for Jeff Brown, The Sweet's bass player from 1992 to 2003...and although they're not really glam anymore it got me wondering...have you ever seen a dead ringer for a glam/hair rockstar?

I know a guy who'd look just like a much younger version of Eric Singer if he grew his hair longer (it's currently mid-length)

I'm livin' in the 70s, I feel like I've lost my keys
I got the right day, got the wrong week

I shagged a complete Michael Monroe look-a-like in Sweden, when I was 18. And let me add, he was gorgeous!!!!

But I was so bloody stupid that I convinced myself that a hot glam guy like him was not really interested in a little punk girl like me and besides I was shy as hell. So the day after our one-night stand, I did not mutter a word to him...if I could I would kick myself in the backside for eternity...for f#%cking things up like that!

    Damn, he was HOT...!

Yes I have seen a Vince Neil look alike and his name was also Vince but no It was not Vince Neil but sure looked like him. And I have seen a few Stephen Pearcy look alikes as well in a bar. I used to think Paul Stanley was Stephen Pearcy. LOL, cause they kind of look alike.

i saw a Vince Neil look-a-like today...as he is now, not back in the day...it scared me shitless, as there was very little to distinguish that it wasn't him...well, that and the fact it'd take a really alien event for someone good to wash up here!

I know several Axl Rose look a likes.
Two I know from myspace...they're soo hot.
And I used to date a guy in Canada who looked like a cross
between Axl Rose and Dani Filth, isn't that weird? Lol.
I also know a guy that looks EXACTLY like Sebastian Bach...
A few look like Slash...like literally, Slash's illegitimate children.
And yesterday I just met some guy that looks like Johnny Depp
but has the lips of Tom Keifer!!! Yes...I analyze people a lot.
And in case you were wondering, most of these are my myspace friends
since no one good lives in upstate New York. :P

this guy named vinny at my school, seriously if you put some shades and a top hat on, he'll pass as slash, he has the same hair texture and everything, its really weird, and its long so that makes it even sweeter....and i know this has nothing to with glamrock, but i once had a pizza delivery boy look like christ pontius from Jackass.

*giggles* I lost my "v" to a Vince Neil dead ringer....(Vince as in back in the mid 80s)...I met him after downing a bottle of Asti Spumante wine....he was peeling potatoes in back of a restaurant.I saw him thru the window and I made a sign with marker and cardboard, and he met me after his shift.lol

I can honestly say I was wearing a handcuff belt that night (it got sand in it) and.... I know that oldies song 'Under The Boardwalk",(I don't know which vocal act sang it,it was before my time) it has special meaning for me :D

The Drifters first sang and recorded it in 1964. It's a good song and I'm glad it gives you those special memories, Leathur!!

i was recently introduced to a swede living in berlin who looks frighteningly like Nikki Sixx. i've actually already seen him on practically all the other concerts i've been to in the city this year.

My local rock pub has a Ronnie James Dio clone in it.
If we had a Nikki Sixx lookalike, I doubt Id ever leave the place.

Are you kidding? this place is the place where the real wyld thingz are..but ya still see a factory of VO5 clones.

i seen sooo many Axls, been dazzled by the Razzle brigade and been left spinning round the block after taking rides from the Brett appreciation society. If the look-a-likes were the real deal, there'd be no-one i haven't met.

    what a fuckin shame.

My dad who was in a glam band in the 80's looked exactly like Kevin DuBrow from Quiet Riot. He used to get joked about it all the time by people and my mom, the difference was he wore make up on stage. He doesn't look so much like him anymore, he cut his hair and is a little older, which means he sold out. Just Kidding Dad if your reading any of these posts please don't be pissed.

I met a kid who looked like Nikki too. Hah, in fact, I called him that like, all night and other people kept yelling it at him. Pretty cool. If I was a dude, I'd wanna look like him too!

One of my roomate's boyfriend from college looked like Jim Morrison from The Doors. It was incredible how much the resemblence was. They were both so handsome and I so jealous of my roomate!

While trick or treating at a campground this Fall, there was someone who was dressed up as Kid Rock. It about dropped me to my knees! He looked just like him! Or, it was a kick ass costume!
