I've never been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. Never could find a way to sneak backstage (well, actually I did but it was for a country singer you've probably never heard of). So tell me who've you met so I can be jealous.

I was waiting around after a Hanoi Rocks gig a couple of years ago as a friend worked at the venue and had a few jobs to do when walking directly towards me were Andy McCoy and Dave Tregunna - seemed wrong not to say hi! I also asked Dave why he wasn't involved in the reformed Hanoi - he said that having been in a band with Andy befoer he wasn't in a hury to do it again!

I have a friend who is a distributor for Miller Lite, so he hooks me up with great tickets all the time. I've met Sheryl Crow, Brooks N Dunn, Carrie Underwood (beautiful!), Gretchen Wilson, and Dierks Bentley. I'm not a big country music fan, but hey, free beer, cool tour bus, and celebrities!

van halen in the dave years,met them in the hotel in dayton,ohio after a gig at hara arena, they carried dave in he was so tore up...drank with dave at the troubadour in hollywood my bar tab alone was $140..Klaus Meine of the scorpions,partied with dave murray and some chick on the bus,all of saxon,girls school,,,,the early 80's were a blur especially the nights at the troubadour,gazzari's on the strip,you never knew who you would see on any givin night

The Nuge in a bait and tackle shop in my hometown and I shook Vince Neil's hand when he played at the local casino, got a autograph and picture. The Nuge was actually very quiet and not bombastic like he comes off on TV, he signed my receipt for the beer I bought!

Signing a beer receipt is totally freaking classy, but DRINKING with a celebrity at some bar would be even better. Maybe someday it'll happen to me, and try to get a short interview as well. Some of those rock people would be a riot to talk to while drunk.

- RockLibertyWarriorI used to work in a party store in Michigan (we sold bait there too) and I'd heard rumors that Ted Nugent had come into stores in small towns nearby. I always hoped he'd make it to my store someday, but that just didn't happen. I also had some "near misses" with celebrity meetings. A friend of mine in college lived next door to Tommy Shaw, but I just never got around to making the trip to Niles to meet him. Then there were a few people that actually showed up at Frat parties, but never at a time when I was actually there. My room-mate would always tell me who and what I missed out on.

I've met tons of bands an hung w/ some from time to time. So I remember from when I was young was w.a.s.p. & L.A. Guns(on the cocked & loaded tour). An have met the phil lewis l.a. guns again a few years ago.(When I got older) I have hung out w/ Marilyn Mason 3 times. An went to one of the after show party's. But I met most the bands that play here. I met the NY Dolls last month.
