I think Ozzy has had many great musicians and I love all the guitarist he has had who is your favorite? I would have to say mine is Jake E. Lee, he can really play his ass off! nothing against Randy or Zakk but I just prefer Jake.

I have liked ALL of Ozzy's guitarists and I would say that Randy Rhoads is my fave.

Although Ozzy has had his share of great guitarists, I have to say that Zakk Wylde is definitely the best. Since we never got to see Randy to his full potential, Zakk has definitely come through as his all-time best. Yah, I'm biased....So what!!!

I think Randy was the best guitarist and had the best chemistry with Ozzy, but I think Jake E. Lee was the hottest!

I agree that Ozzy and Randy had GREAT chemistry together. But Zakk and Ozzy have been together for 20 years now and to say that that is less chemistry than Ozzy/Randy is a hard assessment to make. Jake E. Lee is awesome, but the length of time, number of albums and number of hits with Zakk and Ozzy is impossible to ignore.

No, I didn't mean anything by that either kissangel. I just think that Randy would have been EVERYTHING, you know? He resurrected Ozzy's career and he was such an unbelievable guitarist. Jake E. Lee, in my opinion, was such an underrated guitarist. He never really got the recognition he deserved. His solo stuff is awesome. It's plain to see he had to hold back a bit with the Ozzman. I completely respect your opinion and believe it is completely valid. I was just voicing my opinion and didn't mean to come across that way. My bad!

If the question of BLS is for me??? Yes I love Black Label. I have seen them several times...even in Europe. I met Zakk also. He is a really down to earth guy. Have you seen BLS? What did you think?

I love Tony, but technically he is NOT Ozzy's guitarist. He started Sabbath and Ozzy joined them.

I REALLY think Randy was the best. If he was still alive, he would still be rocking with Ozzy and Zakk would have never been in the picture.

The fact of the matter is Randy didn't have enough time for you to make that distinction, so according to the initial question....Zakk has become Ozzy's best guitarist...whether by default or not.

I don't have much to say on this. Not an Ozzy fan. However, it strikes me as very interesting that when a new guitarist hitz the scene, if they really want to complement them, they tend to say that he iz the Next Randy Rhodes. . . . Just some food for thought.

Jake E. Lee for the song Shot in the Dark alone which is easily Ozzy's best song.

Hands down Randy! Though I like Jake Lee and Zakk, Randy was the master. We lost him way too early, he had unlimited potential to be a guitar legend and master. God knows what he would've achieved if he would've stayed alive.

All were great but I'll go with Jake E. Lee. His Badlands stuff is great as well.
