Anyone watch this show? If you don't know what it is, it's basically a reality show that follows around Gene Simmons and his family in their day to day life. This show cracks me up, I love it. I've been watching it for 2 seasons now. Gene is nothing like how I thought he would be. Did anyone catch the episode where Gene and Sophie go to boot camp and at the very end she jumps from the high dive into the pool and you think Gene is finally going to do it to but when they zoom back he is like 4 feet off the water LMFAO...great show!

Yeah, I have seen it a number of times. Shows like these seem to be getting popular. Following around aged rockers and their family, ever since the Osbornes made it big.

And hey! The shows very entertaining actually.

Some of the things shared on that show, make me want to make sure no children are listening, then again, what would you expect from Gene anyways? I think he is quite business oriented, maybe a little too much, I think by that age I would want to travel and work less, but it seems he is a true work-a-holic.

He's just not what you would picture Gene Simmons being. I think in full costume and makeup he'd probably scare me, but there's no "rock star" to his personality on the show.

I can't believe how tall Nick is...he's a really tall kid!
Scary how much he looks like Gene did in his early years...what do you think, S-man?

It's a great show. Good entertainment. I loved seeing inside Gene's house, especially his office and showroom. Gene is a funny guy and of course a good business man, too.
But don't anyone be fooled into thinking there is any 'reality' involved in this or for that matter any other 'Reality TV show'. It is all scripted and pre-planned.

"The reality stops once the camera's start rolling"

Yes Cindy, Nick's a dead-ringer for his old man for sure!

I've never seen it. Probably never will. I've been a fan of Kiss since I heard their first song. That was back in the days I actually went to record stores to buy albums and I had all of theirs.

But I don't like "reality" shows. If I want reality, I look around at the world. The reality shows on TV are no where near reality.

I don't know why they call them "reality" shows either Donna.
It's actually not reality when you have camera men following you all around.
    It is funny though.
Gene Simmons is totally comical and his kids make these faces that get me cracking up.
Nick shoots these looks at Gene like he's from outer space.
    LOL

I agree that Gene is NOTHING like I'd have expected him to be...Love the guy, but Gene P-A-LEEEEEEEESE do something with your hair! It cracks me up when the kids give him crap about his look etc. Did you see the episode where his daughter was having some modeling photos done? He drove that poor photographer crazy!

Does anyone think the facelift he got along with Shannon did anything for him? I thought after he healed there would be something noticeable but his face looked exactly the same to me

I know...that facelift was pointless. I think Shannon came out looking okay but he doesn't look too much different. Maybe a little less "saggage" around the jowls.
And dying his hair black ages him.
He should get it colored better, like Steve Tyler does...with highlights.

I agree the facelift was pointless! And as I said, Poor Gene, someone should've taken advantage of his being knocked out and down something about that hair! Poor guy would look so much better if he did something, anything else! ha ha.....Still love the dude, but really that hair is just awful!

The face lift was at least good for a few laughs on the show. During the time he was healing, he looked Asian. I felt bad when Sophie starting crying though. To me, that was the one part of the show that didn't appear to be scripted. I think it was a shock seeing him sitting there looking nothing like her father.
