Hey, guys. It's a sad day in the world today, as it is the 17th death anniversary of The Fox, Eric Carr. Hopefully, some of you guys remember  Rock in Peace...

Rest In Peace Eric Carr, you are immortalized by your fans, and by all whom knew you either as a person, or as a talented musician. He died way too soon, and who knows what he could have accomplished, had he not passed away.

Eric Carr kicked ass on the drums! I got to meet him backstage after a KISS concert. I was nervous meeting him and he was so cool. Why do the good die young?

I love all the KISS drummers equally.
Eric C died before I was born, but I still feel sad about his passing. RIP, Eric.

Whenever I watch this, I always tear up when he talks about how he can't wait to get out and play drums again.

I know I'm not posting this on the right date, but I really wish I had met him. A friend of mine told me once, what a nice guy he was. When he died, I was eight yrs. old, and being that my parents were hippies, I never got to listen to any rock that didn't include "folk" in the title. I think Eric was an excellent drummer, but I like Peter better. Mainly because when I went to my 1st concert (Reunion Tour, KISS) I really liked Peter's style, and his muscular arms. Oh yeah, and he saved my life once. We exchanged emails about a particular vice he had in the past, and he emailed me back really fast, whereas, any other rocker may be "too busy" for such things. I dress up like Peter at expos.

I've met Eric's parents many times, and once espescially when I styled my own makeup to look like The Fox. They seemed really touched even though I had never met or seen their son.

At least, now when Eric he's drumming, he's in great company up there... R.I.P. Eric! We love you!
