    Hey guys, who here believes this great song is now getting overplayed to death? You hear it on the Sopranos, Glee, American Idol. It has now become 1 of the most downloaded songs on the Internet.

    I agree it is really overplayed! I loved it before it become too overrated, I still think it's a great song it's just... not as cool anymore! Why must Glee ruin EVERY good song?!

    Damn right I really loved this song back in the day & still do. Then they just killed it to death. You hear it at wedding receptions also.

    I came into work & started singing the song and had someone come up to me and ask if I watch Glee. I was like 'what?!'

    It was a great song when it came out and still is. Its an instant classic. I still jam the Escape album from time to time. Its a song that everybody knows amd since the 40 plus year olds remember it new, people love nostalga. It came out in 1981. I don't get tired of it.

    It's a great songs, definitely overplayed though. But then again, wasn't it overplayed even before Glee?

    I guess there must just be an absence of classic hits, with none or few being written today :P

    alot of songs are or were over played other then this one...theres also thunder struck,poor some sugar on me and smells like teen spirit
