There are so many great 80s bands that I love, but my personaly favorite will always be Dokken! I love all of their 1980's albums...they are all very solid albums(imo).
But, I would say my favorite album is "Under Lock And Key"!
I just love Don's voice, and I think Lynch's killer riffs put them over the top for me.

I will always be ROCKIN' WITH DOKKEN!

    here's Breaking The Chains

I was never a Dokken fan.
But I know they were a huge band...very popular.
I also know they have very dedicated fans like yourself.
My brother-in-law is also a fan of heavy metal...late '80s metal bands in particular.
He used to be a limo driver and crank tunes from bands like Cinderella and Metallica in between jobs.
    :)

    Dokken completely ROCK!!!!!

One of my biggest regrets is deciding to sleep with Linda Bowers instead of using my Dokken show ticket :-(

Just had to. She was the prom queen when I was the nerdy guy at school.

It was my glam duty to sleep with the prom queen.

Dokken is also my favorite band! Do you listen to any of their current music? I thought Erase the Slate was excellent and Hell to Pay was very good. Long Way Home wasn't quite as good as the other two but still had some solid songs. Can't wait for Lighting Strikes Again to come out!

Dokken was pretty good. Had the chance to see them live a few times. They weren't a fave, but I own some of their CD's and have enjoyed their music.

Great band, I met one of the greatest guitar palyers George Lynch at a SamAsh music store guitar clinic his work with Dokken and Lynch Mob are great. He was a really cool guy I had a good conversation with him.

Dokken is awesome, you can never go wrong with classic albums like Tooth And Nail, Under Lock And Key and Back From The Attack....Of the newer albums i really like Erase The Slate....Stay away form the plain awful Shadow Life it's one of the worst albums ever made any category...

    Speaking of Dokken......

Everyone know who George Lynch is, if you're a fan of the band, as well as drummer Mick Brown.

Do you know George and Mick were in a glam rock band called Sergeant Rocks with someone called Erik Darzell?

Eirk has new material out, sans the 2 gentlemen, but thought you'd all like to know..... :)

I love Dokken too. I also think Under Lock and Key is the best. Maybe because it my first Dokken cassette that I owned. I still have it. One of my favorite songs, though, is Dream Warriors.

Funny thing, I was shooting pool after one of their shows about 5 years ago and Mick Brown was watching. I made the 8-ball in on a bank shot and Mick Brown said, "That was awesome!" I'll never forget that.

fave album would have to be tooth and nail, especially the title track, that has to be my favorite george lynch solo of all time, and it was cool that i got to meet george and get him to sign my copy of tooth and nail, as well as get him to get his picture with me.

I so used to love (and guess I still do) Dokken...even though I do not think Don is a great singer, George Lynch is is in my top 10 of guitarists. Was disappointed though when i went to see them open up for Aerosmith YEARS ago and George was so wasted he couldn't even stand up...they played, or rather, rest of the band played one song and they split. I was so pissed that I couldn't even enjoy Aerosmith. You owe me one George!

    My absolute favorite!!!
My Mom and I are huge fans.
Every song I discover I love.
I love "In the Middle" and "I Can't See You" from Breaking the Chains as well as even older ones Back in the Streets which was Don's early Dokken demo (late 70's) that was stolen from him and put out, so he put the whole thing on Dokken's website for free.
I love all their old stuff and newer stuffs good too like "Change the World" and the new album Lightning Strikes Again.
Lynch always an amazing guitarist and Jon Levin is great as well, too many people hate Don and I hate when people constantly put him down. I like Don and George, both great musicians

IMO very underrated band, never gets the credit they deserve.
