    you're best bet would lie with a radio group Dynamo...because the record release kept the siren..it was only removed for radio airplay because of the distraction that may have been caused on the roads.

    I'd say "Escapism" by Antic Cafe, but they don't exactly count as glam, do they?
    They're more like.. Visual Kei J-rock. Which is obviously influenced by glam anyway.

    I don't know about riffs per se, but I have to mention Randy Rhoads' entrance on "Crazy Train" as one of the great introductory flourishes!

    Riffs... Hmmm--"The Spirit Of Radio", anyone? And there's Yes' "Heart Of The Sunrise", and King Crimson's "Elephant Talk", too. (Crimson is actually a great source for Massive Introductory Riffage, depending on what you call a riff; try "Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part 2" and "One More Red Nightmare" on for size.)
