Aerosmith always, always puts on a good show. I went to see DMB, but the hall had a lousy sound system and the concert was not that great. They really make good music, but they picked a bad place to have the concert. It was in Albany, NY...I forgot exactly which hall.

KISS Re Union tour in '97 with the original members was just awesome! A dream come true.

This is going to sound strange to you guys and gals, but the most brilliant and compelling concert I have ever been to as far as music, sound, special effects and total professionalism was Paul McCartney **Believe It Or Not**

I would love to see Paul McCartney. He's amazing. I just got the "Memory Almost Full" CD. I love it.

David Lee Roth during his Eat 'Em & Smile / Skyscraper days was the most awesome show ever. He even rode a levitating surfboard. It was incredible.

Motley Crue put on a great show although they aren't as theatrical as what they were in their early days, but nevertheless, they are entertaining.

Seem them with 3 different drummers. One was Samantha Moloney out of hole. That was the best Crue show ever. Vince did the tittie bar routine with Sam. She is HOT!

I seen alot of bands but the top 3 I seen in my life was

Iron Maiden in 2002 I think. It was Motorhead, Dio, Iron Maiden. Best show I ever seen.
Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio. Seen that this year.
KIX at Rams Head live last year.

I seen Motley Crue, Fake GnR, Poison, Ratt etc but the 3 I listed sounded the same as they did on there albums. That's why they rank up there.

i'd have to say so far it's been KISS, they put on a very entertaining show, i've seen motley crue a few times, def leppard 3 times, poison, skid rowe, quiet riot, tesla, aerosmith, styx, and reo speedwagon, and they were all good, but KISS was the best for actual "show".

Poison and Crue are the top two, Firehouse comes to mind also. I know its not Glam, but someone I would have loved to seen would be Floyd. Sigh, that wont happen anytime soon. Anyone else listen to other stuff completely not Glam?

yeah, i read Ratt cancelled due to workin on their new album. what kinda excuse is that??? i waz bummed recently when the Hanoi, Vixen & LA Gunz gig got cancelled in London. at least Hanoi are back in March. Fav gig of all time??? jeeeez, how the frig are you meant to answer that one?? lol. been to a fair few.....Jovi alwayz amazing live. saw Skid Row the other week. very dubious, first time seeing them without Seb but they kicked ass!!! gutted that Snake couldn't be there tho...... i can tell you a gig i wish i'd been at. The Moscow Peace Festival. what a line up!!!!!!! or Monsterz of Rock in 1987 when Jovi headlined. my first Monsterz of Rock was 1990, i agree with Starr, the line up was very impressive. i alwayz wanted to see D'Mollz and hoping for a reunion gig one day!!

So far I have seen Velvet Revolver (twice) Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Megadeth and Iron Maiden. Motley Crue wins by a MILE and for so many reasons.

The main reason being the crowd! Oh MAN what an atmosphere! The place was PACKED beyond bursting point, I could barely move, people kept falling over, everyone was holding on to everyone else for support, we were jumping around and going nuts and just having a fucking AWESOME time! It was so magical to see the effect the music had on those people...from teenagers to oldies, all just rocking out and having an amazing time.

Also, Motley Crue have been my heroes ever since I got into rock music and seeing them live was just amazing. I could barely believe I was seeing them in the flesh...I was one row from the barrier...Mick Mars was about 10 feet away, I was hearing hi blistering solo's, Nikki Sixx's sultry growl, Vince Neil's shrieking vocals, and Tommy Lee's pounding drum beat...all from right in front of me. I felt blessed to be in the same room as them.

    Long live the Crue!
Crue fans are the best, fuck the rest!

SLADE perhaps the best live band the UK has ever produced, no one touched them in the 70's and they even blew the competition away at Reading in 1980, when everybody, except us "hardcore" including the media had written them off as has beens 3 years previous in 1977. And they were still rocking with the same line up in 1991.

Yes, indeed I believe it. I would never expect anything less from Sir Paul.
