I've seen Aerosmith live in concert four times in the past 15 years. I swear they get better with age.

What a coincidence, just finished watching their "You Gotta Move" DVD, was never really into them and have never seen them perform but I'm a fan now.

It looks like it was shot around 2003. It covers their studio and live performances at a show in Boston MA and they are absolutely brilliant in both.

I've seen Aerosmith 10 times over 15 years and agree, they are definitely getting better with age. It's probably because they've cleaned up their lifestyle.

I suspect that they were a hard drinking and a hard snorting band in their time.

At one show around '95, Steven Tyler could hardly stand at the mike he was so smashed let alone standing spread eagled, doing the hottest rock vocals imaginable.

That's why Tyler and Perry were known as "The Toxic Twins". Too many drugs and too much booze.

I've never gotten the opportunity to catch an Aerosmith show. I've seen live recordings on DVD that were awesome but I'd pay quite a bit to check them out in person. I love cranking up Walk this way in the car.

There was this one song they did in the '70s called "Nobody's Fault".
Awesome song. Tyler at his best.
I also liked the song from Chain Reaction (pre-Aerosmith days)"When I Needed You".
Did you guys know that Steven Tyler was a drummer with Chain Reaction?

Didn't know that Steven could play an instrument. Thanks for posting that little piece of information.

    Steve Tyler was asked:
    "DO YOU PLAY OTHER INSTRUMENTS?"

    He said:
    "DRUMS, KEYBOARDS, HARMONICA, AND GUITAR"

To be honest, I felt Aerosmith was at their best back in the 70's. Their work from the late 80's on seems to be heading increasingly downhill imho. Not like I hate them or anything.

They just seem boring now to me.

I've never seen Aerosmith live. They were never high on my list of 'faves' although that is nothing i dislike about them, I just never got into them other than the singles that received airplay - and of course their 80's collaboration with Run DMC. But if they come out to Oz agin I will most definitely catch them live even if I don't know all the songs, simply because I know they are such a classic and iconic band! :-)

I am sure they are still awesome in a live setting.

They should just stop recording, and concentrate on touring.

They are turning into the Rolling Stones, by recording the same album over and over until the end of time.

The just made a blues album. It was the only album Aerosmith made that I did not like.
    Called "Honkin' On Bobo".
    They'e so amazing live.
Stven Tyler has so much energy and works the stage so well.

    Metalrulesall,

    The influenced me too.

I think Aerosmith had more influence on the 80s glammers than anyone else.

They were and still are, one of the finest rockers in history. They still look fucking great and still rock hard.
