I was listening to def leppard today and thinkin' of what an awesome guitarist Steve Clark was. Maybe the best i ever heard along with Eddie Van Halen and the early Malmsteen.
I don't think that we'll hear another one like him in the fututre... and i really don't know what to say... every time i hear this guy playing guitar my heart beats faster and tears fills my eyes.... i didn't find any topic about him so i decided to open this one.... R.I.P. Steve you've been a genius and an inspiration to me, and we will never thank you enaugh.

Agreed, Steve added the steel to the Leppard sound and they haven't been the same since. My best memory of Steve is sat in a pub in Sheffield near the city hall when they played the Hysteria tour just before it took off big scale. Were looking out the window and Steve walked past you two minders so we tapped on the window and they minders nearly picked him up and carried him off. I also got Ricks drum stick that night.

Steve was awesome... And so were his guitar parts.
I love also his stage presence, he had so much charisma to blow away most of the other guitarists and his riffs are epic.
