Although not the biggest Warrant fan the lost of a life is extremly painful for families and friends to deal with. Prayers & thoughts to his family, friends & most importantly his band mates.

I have desided that my guitar I am building at the moment is going to be named Jani after Jani Lane. Somthing else to remeber him by, even though he will never be forgoten.

he looked fine on TMS to me. he actually seemed like he was getting shit straight. it was hard to watch that episode cuz he seemed so sober and like it was all good. i wish they gave him more time to speak tho.that episode was definately hard for me to watch

Jani had his issues, but didn't we all. He and i got into arguments a few times, like him not remembering that they cut a tape doing the time warp. Jani was always one with a bigger than life personality though. If any of you had the chance to see the band in concert BIT Day, you are aware of this, as he completely ruled the stage when he was on it. What many don't realize is what a nice guy he really was. some of the very best interviews done with Jani were during his time with Saints of the Underground. His writing mate Keri Kelli and himself created some very great *i would say glamtastic* songs together. They did a considerable amount of writing for bands such as Alice Cooper. The band Warrant dedicated their most recent show after Jani's death to him. i found this to be rather offensive personally as the band and Jani did not seem to see eye to eye on many things, and even after Jani left Warrant the last time, the band assured various casinos that they played at that yes, Jani was performing with them. So shame on you warrant for using the death of Jani to try and make yourselves look better.
