Kevin DuBrow (October 29, 1955 – c. November 19, 2007) was an American rock singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Quiet Riot from 1973 until his death in 2007. During Quiet Riot's commercial heyday in the 1980s, DuBrow was known for his on-stage charisma, black-and-white striped microphone stand, gravelly bluesy voice, and suspenders. On December 10, 2007, media reports stated that DuBrow was pronounced dead on the afternoon of November 25, 2007, and was later determined to have died of a cocaine overdose.

metalrulesall, I think that would be a great idea to do that on the anniversery of his death. I am a big fan of Quiet Riot and Kevin was one of my heros and still is. I'll really miss him alot. I would really give any thing to see him in concert just one more time. I missed it when they played at Rocklahoma and I really fucking hated it when he died because I.... well nevermind.

Kevin's death was a real shame. He had been clean for so long. It really bites that he had that horrid relapse. It should serve as a lesson to all of us that the drugs part of the glam scene were not as great as some make it out to be. We have to many Rock In Peace threads thanks to the drugs. At one time I knew every lyric to the Mental Health album. I think I was only 12 at the time. . . . RIP brother

Great. Even the hot babes are wearing baggy, colorless pants these days... :-/

I guess there's no length people won't go to these days to show they're not trying too hard.
