Who else thought that Bon Scott was the most entertaining frontman of the '70s?

Not sure if he was the most entertaining frontman but maybe he had the biggest set of family jewels in rock & roll at the time.

Bon Scott sure was well endowed judging by that great picture but it is so unlike me to be making observations of mans genital region.

Some years ago, when most computers only supported 256 different colors, a list of 216 Web Safe Colors was suggested as a Web standard. The reason for this was that the Microsoft and Mac operating system used 40 different "reserved" fixed system colors (about 20 each).

We are not sure how important this is now, since most computers today have the ability to display millions of different colors, but the choice is left to you.

The 216 cross-browser color palette was created to ensure that all computers would display the colors correctly when running a 256 color palette:

Bon Scott was THE vocalist of AC/DC, and Brian Johnson is a pale comparison. Not that Johnson is bad, but his whole career has consisted of trying to ape Bon Scott the best that he could...which is fairly close I admit.

Either way, Bon Scott died far too soon.

StillRocking...that's where you got it backwards. Brian Johnson did NOT want to do better than Bon Scott onstage. He respected and admired Bon Scott. He wanted to let people know how good the music was, and at the same time not try to upstage Bon Scott.
Brian Johnson is an amazing vocalist.

Bon Scott did indeed die too soon. He drank himself to death. One night he was drinking ver fast and a lot, and just fell asleep - never woke up. Very unfortunate. Kind of what Jim Morrison did.

There's some conspiracy theories regarding Bon Scott's death which you may or may not have heard of. Some say he may have died from car exhaust or due to the temperature being below freezing and that he had asthma on top of that. There's some others too, and I try to take them all with a few grains of salt.

yeah...i can understand that...it's like i don't believe Brian Connolly's death was completely 100% down to the alcohol consumption.

It seems that many famous musician's died under mysterious or debated circumstances. Jim Morrison,Bon Scott, Randy Rhoads,Elvis, Sid Vicious, John Lennon to name but a few off a very long list.

I guess it is partly we as fans do not want to accept the reasons we are given when a musician dies too soon, so people with overactive imaginations cook up their own explanations for everything. Right or wrong, it certainly makes for interesting discussion.

no...i can accept over-consumption from the lifestyle...i'm just a very restless and theoretically creative person...i can't decide whether it's a blessing or a curse.

i was lucky enough to see him with ac-dc in'79 . and i have to say that it was the best time i ever saw them. all due respect to brian, but i much preferred the music they made with bon. i know they wanted to move on after bon passed away, and i can respect them wanting to go in a different musical direction, but they had a harder rocking, punkier sound with bon that was more up my alley. i gotta admit back in black and some of their songs on their albums after that were great, too. and i did get to see them wit brian on for those about to rock, and they were still great, but i've gotta admit i still missed bon, but that's just my taste.

Bon Scott was one of the greatest ever bar none. Where is all the big media coverage when great rockers die? I had to look on the internet to find out how kevin dubrow died.
