Two classic films in the history of hair rock, "Wayne's World" and "Rockstar". Vote for your favourite.

Rockstar is a great flick. Bummer about the ending though... So I say Wayne's World! Schwing! Both WW films are great actually. They still crack me up! :D

Wayne's World out of those 2. Rockstar is boring and predictable. The music is cool though. Bill and Ted kick both their arses though.

well i will have to go with Rockstar just because it was fucking awsome and it had some of my favorite musicans in it, Wayne's world was fucking funny but it also had a cheese quality to it that most films today have, sorry you guys can bitch me out but i am not to big on cheesey flicks

it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

Wayne's World all the way, while I like the beginning of Rock Star the ending was lame. Spoiler alert: Why did they have to make him become a whiney, gen X, grunge weenie. It made me sick although I liked the soundtrack. Wayne's World was hair metal all the way and I saw it in theaters when it first came out

That was really tough, but the only reason I voted for Rockstar is because, it's based on Tim "Ripper" Owens and I just fuckin love his vocals, and he and Michael Matijevic did the vocals in the movie. Michael Starr was in the movie, Jason Bonha and Blas Elias did stuff for the movie. Plus it was just GREAT! :)

I'm Waynes World all the way. I liked Rockstar but I couldn't stand the fact the Marky Mark was playing a rockstar. I didn't like how it ended either. The guy gives up rock n roll to move to seattle and become a coffee shop singer. No thanks, best part about that move though was definitly all the cool musicians in it. Jeff Pilson, Zakk Wylde, Blas Elias, etc. Soundtrack kicks ass too!

Of the two, I have to go with Wayne & Garth. It was what it was and didn't promise me anything it didn't deliver. "Rockstar" on the other hand is like meeting a beautiful woman...She looks great, dressed sexy, seductive voice...But her breath smells like shit! All the elements were in place: Good cast(Whalberg whined too much though), good soundtrack & a great premise...But all together it was OK at best.

I forgot to add that Tia Carrera looked hot as hell in Waynes World too. Especially in the first one at the end when shes in the on the beach in the bikini, and then later in the basement with the white lace dress! Schwing!

Great movie! I am surprised nobody mentioned this movie before. With Steve Vai as the Devil's guitarist you can't go wrong, it was awesome to see him play guitar, in fact whenever they showed Ralph Machio's hands playing guitar it was actually Steve! He helped organize and play the music on the movie. Great movie and glad they played on the whole Robert Johnson selling his soul to the devil tale that was pretty cool.

I know, it is a very good movie, and it'shocks me that not many people know what I'm talking about when I mention it being one of my favorite movies.

My favorite cover of the Sweet song "Ballroom Blitz" is played by Tia and her band. She's just fucking hot and she rocks! Can't beat that!

The only thing the makes me laugh about crossroads, is the fact they have the Karate kid playing steve vai's riffs. I just think thats hilarious. I'm always waiting for Mr. Miyagi to come out from somewhere and do something!

Hahahahahahaha! That's great :) I also think it's funny that in the end Steve Vai practically beats himself.

    WAYNE'S WORLD!
For me Rockstar was far too mainstream. If the thread was Wayne's World or Bill & Ted then it would likely be a closer call :P
