    who's the better drummer here people ?...i say lars even tho motley crue is 1000 000 times better then metallica but i like metallica too even tho i think lars is an arrogent prick

    Lars is probably a faster drummer than Tommy...but that's the only thing he's got over T. Lee!

    Tommy's beats are powerful & steady. Like a drumbeat is supposed to be.

    Lars' beats are overly complex. So much going on that I stop trying to figure it out. It just sounds like a drummer trying to show off and make sure that he stands out among the guitars and vocals.

    Lee stands out without using Lars' signature excessive double kicks, rolls, etc. Less is more, Lars!

    The best thing that happened to Lars Ulrich's drumming? Working with producer BOB ROCK (who we all know was a regular Crue producer) on the 'Black Album'. I'll bet anything that Bob Rock pushed a little Tommy Lee style playing on Lars. Pre-Bob Rock Metallica - the drums were all over the place! More and more and more! After Bob Rock - the drums were more powerful, simplified and steady!

    Tommy Lee's style has never changed! Before or after working with Bob Rock. Because Lee has always been and always will be a bad ass motherfucker behind the drums!

    Plus he's got a bigger dick than Lars! :lol:

    Uncomparable.they both play completely dif styles.that's like saying who's a better guitar player,hendrix or synester gates.u can't compare the 2

    Haha i like how its 100% tommy so far! lars ulrich is an absolute twat, too busy being inlove with himself to stay in time half the set i saw recently.. hate that guy! lol Tommy all the way! <3

    Here is Lars in action:

    I've got respect of Lars for "Master Of Puppets" + "...And Justice For All" but I don't think he could play those songs anymore.

    I tend to go for complex drummers so IMO Lars beats Tommy - but to be very fair to Lee; Ulrich could never be a glam drummer as he doesn't have the stage stage presence or personality for it.

    Yeah man! that whole Napster thing sucked. I think Tommy would also kick the shit out of Lars if it came down to a fight :)

    being a drummer for a while im gonna HAVE to say T bone.... i like Metallica alot but i dont think lars is a good drummer at all.... i saw them do For Whom the Bells Toll once and he was so out of time on just a bass drum that i lost all respect for his dumming
