I love Floyd and KISS, and at times I can be in the mood for AC/DC...don't hate them, just sorta not into them.
But I had to go with Floyd here.
Great music, very varied, and very effective.
My preference is for the stuff before Waters left, and I LOOOVE the Barrett era stuff, very experimental, very psychedelic.
It's also fun to put in a song like Bike around someone unfamiliar with Piper At The Gates Of Dawn who thinks they're a hardcore PF fan and watch their reaction."What the hell is THIS shit?"

KISS...i just prefer them out of the choices.

Not a fan of ACDC's singers. I only like a couple songs by them, the others kind of make me want to blow my brains out from sheer annoyance, lol.
Pink Floyd bores the living hell out of me, and I never want to hear them again as long as I live. There's no excitement in them for me. Plus, I had an ex girlfriend who always played Pink Floyd in the background when we made out, and god, i got sick of it. I went to a concert of local bands covering classic bands, and the Pink Floyd band literally almost had me bored to tears. I just wanted to leave soooo bad.
I love Kiss, though. They're corny a lot of the time, but they're positive and fun. They've got some amazing songs and I haven't really heard anything by them I don't like. Got to go with them. The great stage presence and whole super hero rocks too.

Pink Floyd music is great to smoke reefer to!
I saw Roger Waters play at the Hollywood Bowl last year, he did The Wall and other stuff. It was perfect except for my having nosebleed seats and was stuck sitting behind a chainsmoker of tobacco. It was nice tho that I went with a few friends, and thats a novelty as almost all the time I go to shows solo.
As for ACDC.I like them, but to me,a lot of their music sounds the same.
Y'all KNOW how I feel about KISS.They're my homeboys....so to speak

AC/DC all the way. Big Balls and all."I even had a little mini skirt and waistcoat made for Wig Wam Bam. The skirt was so short, my undercart hung beneath the hem. I thought it best to keep my underwear on"-Steve PriestPosted 4 years ago # -

They aren't...
Although they have an "Anthem Glam" type song on The Wall.
Well, two songs, but both are variations on the same song with slightly altered lyrics to reflect the deterioration of the fictional rock star the album's about:

i go with pink floyd, they have a certain fell to them and while i may be young i still beleive that glam is the true rock&roll

I am a worshipper of all three bands. Flyod creates landscapes with their music, Kiss just makes me fly high and AC/DC just tears it up. The thing is when I am down, pissed off, happy, or wanna rock, I always plug in the juice and get electrocuted!

I think Pink Floyd has some pretty narly song writting skills and Ac/Dc defidently has the guitar power and Kiss has an awsome stage presence, so I can't really decide on which one is better.

AC/DC! No competition whatsoever! Pink Floyd is ok has some good songs I like the mellowish songs by them. Kiss is just too creepy looking for me
hahaha no but seriously AC/DC got guitar, look and voice power!

I would not consider Pink Floyd to be glam in even the loosest sense, but I imagine that they influenced some of the glam bands in subtle manners. That said I would say I like them over both Kiss and AC/DC. Kiss suffered from inconsistency in albums, and AC/DC suffered from largely re-writing the same albums over and over. Pink Floyd stayed creative and interesting from the beginning to the end. Kiss kept evolving too, but some of their albums were a bit off the mark.

AC/DC rocks. It is simply put. Their songs are easy to listen to, lyrics are simple, just good old fashioned get up and bang your head.
