    i fuckin love both bands even tho technically steel dragon is fictional....but who do u guys think is better....now what u ought to do is really listen to the lyrics of steel b4 making ur decision ok

    Easy, metalrulesall, easy... :) I agree that the music is good. But it's not a REAL band. Some true rock giants wrote & performed the music -- but for MARKY MARK WAHLBERG to "pretend" he was singing.

    It's like Pamela Anderson's tits: They may look damn good! But they ain't the REAL THING!

    What's next: Poison vs Vesuvius(from "The Rocker")?

    Put Steel Dragon against Spinal Tap and I'll vote Steel Dragon. But there's no way a fictional band with NINE SONGS should EVER be compared to the likes of Motley Crue! Or Poison, or Cinderella, or Ratt, or even Bulletboys.

    So says my scrawny ass! :D

    Spinal Tap became a real band though, really. I mean, wasnt it them that wrote the songs anyway? And they did a bunch of gigs.

    regardless of weither who rote wat songs or if there real or not i think its needless to say there a great with killer tunes, excellent vocals and musicianship...and anyone who thinks any less of them then that can go kill them selves

    Motley Crue, but for a fictional movie in a band Steel Dragon is awesome. I mean come on you got Zakk Wylde on guitar, Jeff Pilson on bass, Miljenko on vocals and Jason Bonham on drums what more could you want?

    It was great. Last night I got a hold of old copy of Motley Crue's "Shout at the Devil" in vinyl at Second Handy Dandy. I got home with a bottle of wine put it on the turn table and fucking turned it up way high not caring about the consequences! My fucking walls shook and shit I had on top of the speakers fell off! I was headbanging as I brought my head up I saw a person at my window! Neighbor. Oh no. So I stopped the record and opened the window ears ringing. I thought he was going to punch me but no he goes "Man I haven't heard that for like 20 years man, open the window so I can hear!" I did and climbed out we were head banging, soon people down the block came, people came with beer too. I mean even old fucks and ex hippies from the 60's. When the record ended I started it again. There was like ten of us in the yard rockin' out and then the police came and told me to turn it down, and it killed the damn buzz. But glam rock brought people together. Awesome power of metal!
