    Lead for me, even though I suck monkey balls on guitar. I'd love to play like Yngwie Malmsteen or Nuno Bettencourt (I hope this isn't going to start a who's the best guitarist war - LOL). Solotastic!!!

    Both are important, but I suppose most guitarists would say "lead". We're a bunch of hedonistic bastards who just want to shred to our heart's content! 8)

    I've always been partial to guys like Andy Timmons or Vito Bratta. Maybe not THE fastest shredders out there, but guys who have good phrasing.
