I read Aerosmith is actually gonna hire a replacement vocalist for Steven Tyler...It reminded me of the time my favorite band replaced their singer: Enter the CORABI CRUE.

Were they Motley Crue anymore? Yes and No...

In concert, when they played the classic tunes, I truly missed Vince. Nobody else can do "Live Wire" like Neil.

HOWEVER!! Some of the tunes on the Corabi Crue album are some of my favorite Crue tunes: "Misunderstood", "Uncle Jack", "Poison Apples", "Driftaway"...awesome!

I wonder if they would have stayed relevant(like U2)with today's music fans, instead of a classic/nostalgic act...
DON'T LET ME BE "MISUNDERSTOOD" THOUGH! MOTLEY CRUE WILL ALWAYS BE RELEVANT TO ME!!

Crue with Corabi was cool, but they didn't have a future with him. Vince is/was integral to their fan base and sound.

I adore John Corabi so very very much, he has such a great voice, damn smokin' body, I love him to bits. BUT everyone is used to Vince. It just isn't Crue without Vince, he's iconic.

But damn it would've still been great if they kept John. I'm trying to not let my bias get in the way here, haha. I love John heaps.

I voted potential because they had songs and style. But they could have had potential if they had gone under a different name. Vince's voice is integral to motley crues sound and while i like corabi crue it could have only lasted under a different moniker

    No chance.

    Time has proven that.

They are so iconic as a 4-piece and they are "The Motley Looking Crue" John worked as a replacement. But it was never going to stay that way was it

I think if they changed their name. Kind of like the new GnR, It's not the real thing.
