I love Kurt Cobain's voice, I think it's really unique and every song he did had so much emotion. But I'd have to ask WHY aren't Axl Rose, Tom Keifer, and Sebastian Bach on here? I'm definitely going to have to say Axl Rose. But Tom Keifer is soooo close. I love the singers that can sing both low and high. And have you ever heard Axl/Tom talk? OMG. :D Lol.

Has anyone ever heard Kevin Godley sing?
    He has a beautiful voice.

    Those are the 3 choices?

    Kurt Cobain - Couldn't sing

Vince Neil - Only sing 50% of the words live.

Marc Storace - Is millions better today than either Kurt or Vince ever were.

Freddie Mercury was the greatest vocalist of all time.
If you think Cobain was a better vocalist than Freddie
    was...you've gone off your meds.

...and he wasn't even on that list. Someone needs to make a new list - and then I'll take that poll.

I dont understand the choices cuz Kurt Kobain is the furthest thing from glam...ever
And although i looove Vince Neil and Motley i have to say the top 5 best singers in my opinion are:
    1.Nadir D'Priest of London
2.Steve Summers of Pretty Boy Floyd
3.Erick A.K. of Flotsam & Jetsam (not glam but fuckin amazing)
    4.Sebastian Bach
    5.Randy 'O' of Odin

i dig noddy holder's (Slade) voice. it demands attention. it's sharp and loud. Sebastian Bach certainly can sing well and beautifully. i like those unusual voices tho like Tiame Down and the singer of the dogs d'amour.

Bach has a lovely voice and I love Axl but I'd have to go with Angry Anderson.
He was and still is great :D

Kurt Cobain: WTF? Why does this guy keep popping up around here? I've heard drunk guys at the local pub sing better versions of his songs.

Best vocalist, I wouldn't pick either of these guys. C'mon: Coverdale, Bach, Mike M., Dio... All much better vocalists. Oh and how about Steve Grimmett from Lionsheart? That dude rocks!

Between these 3 I choose Vince Neil, simply because the Crue rocks big time! 8)

jims tone is very unique cause alot of guys from the 80's when tthey hit the high notes there voices fade or get all raspy but jims stays basically the same...very impressive
