I think I like every one of what I call the Sweets proper albums, ie, the studio ones starting with Sweet Fanny Adams, but I was wondering what is "THE" most popular album out of all of them.

Tell us what your fave album by them is and why.

For the record, my favourite has to be "Sweet Fanny Adams" because thats the one that changed their persona to the people who knew them best, ie the fans. The media and other music fans in general may have been ignorant of it all, but us Sweet fans were well up to date with it.

Sweet Fanny Adams. They dropped the bubblegum, but were still 100% glam. But if only Peppermint Twist and AC/DC weren't one there, though, they bring it down a notch.

Hard to decide in fact almost too hard but in the end i had to vote for Give Us A Wink! because Action is on that one and the rest of the album ROCKS!!
Could have quite easily have voted for Off The Record or Sweet F.A [all about equal to me] Quite liked Level Headed aswell?

    All considered.........

The North American "Desolation" is one I love, but been rode hard and put up wet over the NA one I was privvy to. I still like it.

I would have to say "Levelheaded" is probably tops for me............ the "Fountain" track made it so.

I was really tempted to vote "Cut Above the Rest" because I am really enjoying this one right now! But it is true that of all the albums I have heard so far, I think SFA really stands out. It's a triumph for the band!

Sweet Fanny Adams because they broke into their own, as much as i loved all that chinn/chapman bubblegum i still blast from my speakers from time to time  Sweet were much better writing their own.

Not sure how to vote for this. Voting for the U.S. version of "Desolation" is like voting for half of "Sweet F.A." Still, I'll have to pick the former (though the presence of restless on F.A. tempted me to go the other way).
