Hahaha, I like how this post wasn't commented on. Well, being that this is "Glamrock".com it's not hard to think why it hasn't. Morbid Angel, Obituary, Possessed, Deicide, Hypocrisy, and Grave? Well, buddy, you gave me stuff to listen to. Thanks! Sorry for my 'inferior' knowledge to Death Metal, but I'm pretty open to most music sub-genres of metal.

My respect goes out the musicians, especially the drummers.

I have a couple of death metal CDs in my collection although I prefer black metal when given a choice of brutal music...

I do dig grindcore/death bands Carcass and Napalm Death, early Sepultura and some melodic death including At The Gates, Dark Tranquillity and Dissection plus industrial/death act Fear Factory.

arch enemy and lamb of god arent to bad....and retroman u mentioned black metal,well i love dimmu borgir...kings of the carnival creation,burn in hell(a twisted sister cover),spellbound,progenies of the great apocalyspe,storm blast,etc...all kick ass tunes

and Sadus is great too!
the bassist of sadus was a friend of chuck,they met 88 or 89 in the studio
and dont forgett about Protector!

I like bands like Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, In Flames and then black metal bands like Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Gorgoroth, Ov Hell. I genuinely like a good few bands from every subgenre of metal. haha
