    IMHO, Dimebag was at his best in the 80's/early 90's. Damageplan did nothing for me, and the last Pantera I enjoyed much was Cowboys.

    That said, he was an extremely talented guitarist who will be missed by fans the world over. Even people who did not like his music respected him as a guitarist and person.

    DIME was a tragic loss. Wether you like his pre CFH days or the ultra heavy stuff..he was great. I myself love Vulgar & Far Beyond..for me they have no equal.Hvy a** stuff!

    The Mighty Dimebag. Man when I heard the news, I literally broke down in tears. That just wasn't fair man, not at all. I was so pissed off I shut myself up in my room, called in sick to work and just blasted Pantera. I know that sounds teenage, and I was 25 at the time but thats how I felt there was no way I could go into work that day. Tragic loss, great guy and great musician.
