    ¡Hi guys!

I'm just wondering if anyone have any clue on where to find the kind of long coats/jackets that use to wear for example Tom Keifer, or if they have any special name o keyword to look for, as i can't find anything like this.

    Thx!!

I'm guessing that since Halloween is coming up there will be alot of stores selling costumes, so you might find it there

That's probably satin so search satin ankle length trench coat but you'll probably have to have it custom made just like he did

Hang in there little brother. We ain't going down without a having one big fucking party to remember.

We've been doing everything we know for the last 5 years and at one stage, this website was pretty popular. Competing with MySpace wasn't a problem. We had lots and lots of active members including you my dear friend metalrulesall.

Then came along facebook and things started to get bleak. Traffic was still there but facebook got the activity. Our response was to extend features to at least closely match facebook on key functionality demanded by people such as chat, commenting, picture galleries and not everything like games and stuff like apps.

So we launched GlamRock.com Widescreen early 2010 but by then and as I sure Retroman could attest, it was too little, too late. The migration of all types of communities from kite flying enthusiasts to hard rockers onto facebook was inevitable.

    Here is our history -
1 We launched 26 september 2007. It was a wednesday. The site quickly got active.

    2. We were a social network for 2 of those 5 years, from 29 April, 2010 through to 24 July 2012.

    3. On 27 January 2011, we started to think of ourselves a rock and glam site. This was the last roll of the dice.

I'm here everyday. And if anyone else checks in, please take a moment to post because I don't think it'll be long until no one comes here...

"I don't think it'll be long until no one comes here..."...that really is a shame admin because as most everyone on this site knows and as youve already stated ive been a VERY loyal and dedicated member to this sight pretty much from the very beggining and its gonna really really fucking suck if this site goes under because ive had a blast on here i really have...i remember a few years ago this site was the place to be for glam freaks and metal heads alike but now it seems to have all but died and sad to say,it seems like the end is near but i sure hope im wrong :(

Yea and really it's a shame. it had alot to do with people taking advantage of having a really cool profile and really cool pics and lots of "Friends" added for their own personal popularity and it really drew away from the forum. People would join but not talk. I tried with every person that requested me. "hey, welcome to this badass site, go straight to the forum and say a bunch of cool shit because we are all really badass people" but no one ever really bit on it. Everyone just wanted another facebook/myspace. This forum page totally kills all other glam sites I can promise you that. And I've met some really cool people from this site that I talk with from time to time like Tommy Ende(grime) and Frankie Snakes(glamrockerfs) and even one really close friend of mine Shelby Mustang. This site has done alot for some of us, and we owe you alot for creating it. It once was a great place to hang out and meet cool people but it's like you said, unfortunately, facebook is so big right now that you just can't compete. But I don't think that you need to compete. It's not the end, you'll gain new members by word of mouth of course and the few of us loyals will keep coming back to spice things up. I don't look at this as it being finished, I see it as preparing for a revival. Keep your spirits up. Glamrock.com lives on forever like Mick Mars seems to be doing hahaha \m/

Tommy's in Nasty Habit now, they changed there name ;) Its sad what has happened to the site. I don't think I was here when it was big from what I've heard, but when I signed up it still had a few people posting and it was a cool site. I always check in every few days but I don't have a lot to post about. I hope it picks up again.

thats the thing dude theres old threads on here i love like another glam metal game and glam vs but i think the thing is those threads are starting to wear thin and no one is really making new cool threads and stuff ya know ?...and ive tried my best but one of members (i cant remember witch one now) said one time that i post some "pretty outrageous stuff)maybe thats why no one comments on my posts ive even taken some of my own lyrics and posted them on here to get ur guys opinions but with not much luck :|

Hi all, hope you are well...

I Just stopped by to check out the site after many many months of being away... I never forgot you... I've been in a dark place but there's light ahead ;)

I can't allow myself to leave without adding my contribution to this thread.

Reading those posts from long term members admin, metalrulesall and Dash made me remember the good times I've had on this site. It's a sad feeling seing things the way they are right now :(

For me, it pretty much reflects the time we live in... the human race's "here today, gone tomorrow" attitude and obsession with progression whatever the cost. Sure facebook and twitter have changed the way the internet functions but they too will eventually be replaced by the next big thing...

IMO, as long as the music lives on, there will always be a need for celebration, information and a place to share hopes, dreams and experiences. Also, it's a two way thing... the music needs a voice to spread the word if it is to gain new fans!

So do we just give up? The bad'ass attitude of rock will fight to the very end!

Oh yeah... coats... find someone who can make one to order :)

I'm gonna stick around a while... KEEP ROCKIN'
