we broke up a day after our third anniversery. we just werent happy anymore and she said she needed her space. were still friends and i still buy her lunch and walk her to class. its pretty much like were still together except we dont hold hand and kiss and all that other shit. i still want to be together but she doesnt. she was my first girlfriend and i dont know how to deal with being dumped. got any advice

Whenever you see her in school, just pretend that you're not interested in seeing her or talking to her. I hate to say, but most girls like assholes. You can even try talking to other girls (flirting or not) around her to make her jealous. Whatever you do though, don't let her know that you want her, and she just might want you back. That's what I'd probably do anyway if I was dumped. Yet again, I was the one who ended the last relationship I was in, mainly because I was just sick of being tied down, and wanted to find someone better. However, I haven't found anyone since which sucks.

However, your best bet is probably to just simply forget about her, and find someone else.

I would leave her a while alone, (if she said she wanted to have her space, leave it to her) don't walk her to class or buy her lunch. But I wouldn't try to make her jealous aswell. Just live on your life and try to get some distance.
and then after a while, if you still want her back, tell her right in to her face. if she sais that she wants you back aswell, wonderful! if not, try to forget her.
thats what I was waiting for when I split up last time.
but hey, how ever you end up you'll be fine again

Being dumped can suck bad, so I would just try to chill and keep your distance for a while. Don't try to make her jealous or anything, just try to live your own life, and see if she ever starts to take interest again.

Sorry to hear that bud... It sounds like you're young and trust me there are gonna be plenty of other girls who will break your heart and then some others whose heart you will break. I guess it's part of life. Just hang in there and try not to think about the good memories because that's when it gets tough.

yeah im good now. ive been thinking and i dont want to get back with her. it was cool at first but after a while things changed. so if we got back together it would still be the same shit. thanks for all of your advice.

But seriously here, you don't need a girl who would dump you so easily anyway. Three fricken years, and she just dumps you like that? Just find somebody else and hope that things will go better.
