I'm a freshman in high school & I'm haveing a really hard time makeing friends at school because of the way I look. I'm really nice to people, but they arn't nice to me at all. I've been called everything from an animal, to a mini Joan Jett(I consider that a compliment , to a slut. & I don't give a shit about what people think, or say about me(I still think I'm pretty badass haha). I've just gotten to the point of not talking to anyone unless they talk to me first (which is really hard because I am a loud person)... I'm just wondering if any of you guys have any tips on this kinda shit.

Just dont listen to them. They're probably jealous! :b haha. As far as making friends, there's not really a whole lot you can do other than what you're doing. Just give it some time. You might just be trying to hard! I'm sure you'll make some friends in time.

PFFT ... if people insult you based on the way you look then they arn't the kinda people you want to have as friends anyway.....

dont worry about it when you do make friends at least you know they like you for who you are

Ps if you were in my school and you liked glam and looked like Joan Jett i would totally be all over ya :L

ill lay it right down for ya ok...dont try to hard and especially dont make your seem like your desperate or needy cause that will only bring more trouble to your cause ya know ?....and besides just be yourself and if people dont like it or dont wanna be your friend when ur nice to them and shit then thats there fucking loss and buy the way...do yourself a huge favour and take NO shit from ANYONE...ya c what im saying ?

Thanks guys. I see what your saying. I ain't takin' no shit > I do have a couple people I hang out with now, but one he got expelled, one I known sense 6th grade, and one I known sense 8th grade but I never get to see him. People kinda stopped making fun of me and just started ignoring me, which is better I guess. I still get called an animal when I wear my fur boots though :/ lol.

Btw, you don't need friends at school My schooldays where just me and a friend of mine (a metalhead). The only alternative people on the school. But after school i've got a lot of friends.
