It hasn't been much of an issue until now so I think I should explain it in it's own post.
As the GlamRock.com community grows, it's inevitable that some members mightn't agree on something or other but for such disagreements to escalate any further, isn't welcome nor acceptable behavior.
More specifically, it's absolutely unacceptable for GlamRock.com members to be personally attacked for expressing their views.
Also, it's absolutely unacceptable after a dispute has been moderated, for members to be stalked around the forum just because they butted heads with some clown that just has to have the final word.
GlamRock.com must remain a place where members are able to freely express their opinion and not keep it in reserve through risk of being personally attacked or stalked after a dispute has been moderated.
That is why we are announcing a change in policy pertaining to unacceptable behavior and the consequences of not observing warnings.
2 WEEK SUSPENSION
When a dispute breaks out and a personal attack has been mounted, either admin or a moderator will intervene and issue a warning. The issuing of a warning marks the end of the dispute and where appropriate, offending post content will be edited.
Where a member that has been warned directly, comes back to perpetuate the dispute, either on the same topic, elsewhere on the forum or seeks to intimidate through stalking, an immediate 2 week suspension will be imposed.
During this 2 week period, suspended members will be disallowed from posting.
If anyone else comes back to the topic to say "hardy har har" to the suspended member. They too will be suspended for 2 weeks.
LIFETIME BAN
Two things can trigger a member to incur a lifetime ban. These are -
1. Suspended members that register a new username and password. They will have their asses permanently banned from this site.
2. Members that have had 2 prior suspensions and have disregarded the following warning. Again, will be permanently banned.
The GlamRock.com community will remain a fun, entertaining and safe environment for the sharing of views and information.
