This is what you do when you've forgotten or want to change your password.

Make sure you read each step thoroughly. Please don't skim your eye over and figure 'yeah, I got it'. Read carefully....step by step.

Do not ask moderators or admins for your password. Believe it or not, but you are the only person on planet earth that has access to the password of your GlamRock.com account. It is impossible for anyone to access it.

This will only work if you still have access to the email address that you used to create your GlamRock.com member account. If you don't remember it or are failing to receive password reset emails, contact admin@glamrock.com to verify your registered email address.

    FORGOTTEN, LOST OR MISPLACED PASSWORD

    1. Make sure that you are logged out of this page http://friends.glamrock.com

    2. Go to this page, the FORUM HOMEPAGE. In the login boxes, enter your email address as you normally do. Clear the password box then click on "Log In"

    3. On the page presented, click on the "Recover Password" button.

    4. An email is sent containing a link. Click on this link to reset your password.

    5. This will generate yet another email containing a new password. This new password will log you onto the site under your usual email address.

    6. Log back into the site from the FORUM HOMEPAGE using your new password.

    7. Either remember this password or change it to something that you can remember. If you want to change it to something that you can remember, then read on....

    TO CHANGE A KNOWN PASSWORD

    1. Make sure that you are logged out of this page http://friends.glamrock.com

    2. Go to the FORUM HOMEPAGE. In the left hand sidebar, click on "Manage Account" to access your profile.

    3. On your profile pages, click the "Edit" tab

    4. Scroll right down to the bottom and enter a password that you can remember...twice.

    5. Click on "Update Profile".

If you are able to follow these directions, you will be in business.

I'll be the first to admit that the process is a pain in the ass to follow but hopefully it is something that you don't need to go through too often :)
