WORST fashion trend about Glam?

Uhh I think it doesn't look good AT ALL when a person tries TOO HARD to be glam... when it all starts to look like a parody... Hey it's gotta be real! And also when people put on clothes or accessories that don't fit them JUST BECAUSE some glam people wear them and it looks great on them. I mean if it suits others, it doesn't mean that it will suit you, right?
also poor quality Halloween costume type animal prints that look really fake. It kinda hurts my eyes... It's all about originality, you don't have to wear zebra tights to be glam! Tear and dye some jeans instead!
Also, when you put on make-up, give it some time and do it right... It all takes practice, male glammers especially!

@ phsych0 i can fully agree with what you had to say. when one can recreate the way that their mind views themselves, then generally it will work. But if it doesn't feel right on you, then it probably looks like you are being fake, because you are.

i can easily pull off the grunge look,but i havent tried glam yet because my hairs never been long enough...kinda sucks but at least i love the tunes

Has anyone heard of Madam X? It was the band that Roxy Petrucci was in before Vixen. They only had one album and I think some of the songs are kind of awesome and all but... but... err.. just look at what they're wearing!!

I agree with psychOdelica and Spanx here.
You just have the be glam inside to look badass while wearing eyeliner, hair-spray, leather, animal print or whatever. The attitude is what makes u coll and sexy; the rest is just accessorize.
There's also using too many items at once that don't match, and/or look cheap, but u guys kinda mentioned that already. x)Posted 5 months ago # -

HellsBells, I agree. I especially hate pink lipstick or lipgloss ON BOYS. I even don't like it on girls. Like, the girl on the "Join glamrock.com" (forum front)looks kinda disgusting to me. I must say I prefer dark colors. Red lipstick is the best haha! It looks hot on some guys too...*cough*The Crue*cough*

The only fault I can pick is the make-up Twisted Sister wore, particularly in the 'We're not gonna take it' video. They looked like pantomime dames, not sexy.
