    Fuck yeah!

I need some pictures when my hair is up..

I always wash it afterwards though, and since I usually have my hair coloured it washes out.. so I don't put it up too often. When my hair is blank though I tease it all the time

Yes!I tease my hair!I teased it twice both Saturday and Sunday to go disco dancing.I washed it on....Wednesday.Straightened it Friday. So I could just focus on spraying and teasing my hair on Saturday..The spray did a crappy job tho, it was all I had, aerosol Suave max-hold 8.....My hair was full but not charged up like I really prefer but c'mon I was gonna be dancing....

My roots are out to here.....

I don't tease my hair anymore... it doesn't listen too much at my age....

I do, however, curl it "glamour girl" style..... it's very fine, so I spray it in place. I use Schwartzkopf's "got2bsexy" volume shampoo (it's a foam), and either Thermasilk Light Conditioning Mist, Biosilk Silk Therapy Shine on spray, or just use Nice 'N' Easy's Colour Seal conditioner for coloured hair (this stuff rules azz for MAJOR shine when one wears it flat.).

Now, to keep it in place, it's either Salon Selectives feel'n'control smoothing gel while the hair is still wet, or I use either Lacoupe fix volumizing spray for hard to hold hair or John Feida sheer blonde hold and finishing spray (it dries clear, and doesn't mess with colour once it's on).

When I just need clean hair, I use TRESumme moisturing shampoo, for the most part.

You'd laugh if you knew what else I used......

    MM: Maby Catwalk?

Leathur: I use Bedheads sprays (Hard Head, Masterpiece Hairspray, Headbanger and Control Freak x.x.s) I find the gels to drag my hair down to much.

I'm surprised that teasing dirty hair works for you guys.To me,I think hair should NOT be greasy, that way the spray sticks.

Granted,I only wash my hair every 5 days or so....because tho its oily I don't want my colour to fade.

But once its all teased, its a big production to brush it all out....which must be done before shampooing.

Gosh I really wanted to do my roots before I go out tomorrow night. But tho I got bleach, i have just barely enough purple to redo my head....and I feel a bit lazy....lol

My hair is best like 3 or 4 days after washing it and if i have sprayed and teased it everyday since i washed it.
Actually i tease my hair everyday before i go to my job and before a night out i make sure that i stands almost right up.

I used to rat it(aka "backcombing") almost daily in the late 80s, and often for years when I went out.
These days, I usually can't be bothered to rat it, and since it's thinning(stupid genetics), sometimes when I do the results aren't quite what I hoped for.
I usually crimp it and sorta fluff it instead, or sometimes I use the crimping iron and hairspray, which gives a nice "shocked" look.

Aqua Net always gave me the best results for ratting, other than this now nonexistent hairspray called "Stiff Stuff", which worked great for ratting or spikes.

I USUALLY BACKCOMB IT TO GIVE IT SOME VOLUME, AND SEPERATE IT WITH BEDHEAD PALMADE STUFF!! IT WORKS REALLY WELL AT SEPERATING YOUR HAIR, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE LAYERS, IT MAKES IT LOOK CHOPPIER. IT'S IN A BLUE LITTLE CAN THING, I DEFINATELY RECOMEND IT

Okay, well, for those of you not familiar with "backcombing" The best technique I've found is, lightly spray, use the small (tight) end of and do 3 tight downstrokes, get this done everywhere you want, spray lightly again, then, using the wide end of the comb, lightly backcomb to shape. Having a layered cut or getting parts you want up high "thinned" will make it easier as the shorter hairs will compact better and allow the longer ones to stand higher with a fuller base. I found that I like the liquid sprays for the initial backcombing (let it mostly dry first) then a good aerosol for the overall ending. This is what mine would do 6 months ago with no backcombing or hairspray. Guess I lucked out.

My hair kinda naturally goes out coz it's kinda curly and my fringe is long so it hangs over my face. I just wish it was longer.

My hair used to go up into this kinda afro thing, but I was in the Amazon Jungle and whenever I washed my hair there it would fall out and it still does. Now it goes out and then down.
