    back comb and use Aqua Net hairspray. Its what I use and the sleazy boys of 1987 used as well.

    at drug stores its cheap and it works well. I had to use it a couple of times for the school plays I was in and it really works well; and the day I decided to go to school with my hair all Hair Metal.
