I need some advice on my hair style

Okay my friends, girlfriend and my mother all want me to update my hair style to more of today's look. The picture of me on here is about 5 months old so i got to get a new one because my hair has gotton alot longer since then. Everyone says that i look like i am trying to be Vince Neil because my hair is as long as his on the Shout at the Devil album and it's blonde. But really i just like my sleezey glam apperance(Cut off Dangerous Toys shirt, long teased out hair, skin tight jeans) So should i get it cut or should i not? If so do you have any ideas on a hair style that may look all right but is still glam?

Well, do YOU want to get it cut, or do you like it the way it is? I think you shouldn't cut it just because someone else wants to.

well i like it the way it is but i don't want my girlfriend leaveing me because of it. And it's pretty hard for a guy like me to get a girl because i kinda look like a girl and i go to a really preppy school. But yeah i like it the way it is but if people don't stop bitching at me about it then i am gonna have to do something about it

well that's what i started thinking but then i relaized how much i hate being alone so i don't want to ruin that but yeah you're right. Well do you think i should dump her? I maena it's pretty hard for a metalhead at my school to get a girl. Well since i got sot of an idea of what to do about her, what do you think i should do about my friends?

I agree with Techwreckie. If someone doesn't like you for being yourself, then it's not worth it. I believe glam is partly about being yourself, don't you think?

well tht's part of the reason why glam was invented i guess....but i don't really know i mean i look pretty glam now because my hair is blached blonde with pink highlights and i am allways wearing lipstick and eye liner but i don't know if i should give up my friends and my girlfriend or my style, it's a pretty hard decison

She doesn't sound worth it. Glam is about wearing whatever you want and doing whatever you want, regardless of what ANYONE else thinks. If they don't like it, fuck 'em.
If I was with a guy who disrespected my image, I'd ditch him straight away. If anyone thinks my skirt is too short or my hair is too bizarre or my eyeshadow is too heavy, that's their problem! As far as I care, I look awesome.

I agree with SickThing. Maybe you could explain all this to these people that are so against you and your style. Maybe that would help? And if they don't understand why you feel comfortable this way, it's just not worth it.

My brother went through this. His girl wanted him to cut his hair, and I was on his side, but he was afraid he wouldn't get another girlfriend, but he did. Of course, he did change some stuff about himself. But he brought some back too. Not exactly the same thing, but now he looks like an A&F model with a studded belt and skull belt buckle. Maybe it would've happened anyway, but I think it should be something you choose, not something forced upon you.

thanks i really appreciate it and SickThing you do look fucking awsome in my book and all of you are rightglam is about doing what i want to do, weareing what i want to wear. i mean that's what made me such a huge fan of the 80's metal scene in the first place. But i'm not cutting my hair and i told my girlfriend that and lets just say she dumped me but hey i don't care i still got glam and i still got you guys right? So just to piss more people off how can i enhance my glam image?
