    hey - I've been reading these boards forever now and just finally signed up. what took me so long, I dunno - lazy. anyways - I was wondering if anyone had some cool ideas for a glam metal wedding =)

    hmm... There's been things like this posted on other sites. Stuff like having Great White as the wedding band. Knee high boots are a must for the bride. Maybe have one of the guys from Stryper as the priest. Hold it in the church from the November Rain video clip. The possibilities are endless!!!

    it was a lot of fun! me and my friend went to LA 2 months ago and it was like an 80s tour hahah. rock walk, sunset, metal skool (i wont be calling them by steel panther anytime in the near future, lol) - good times! do you live nearby or just went on a vacation?

    btw, thanks for the ideas! some of them sound a little extravagant but, hey - one never knows! i especially like the november rain idea :)

    Nah... I went there on vacation in March. That's pretty much what I did. Except I didn't get to see Metal Skool coz I wasn't in LA on a Monday or Wednesday. I did get to see W.A.S.P. at the Key Club though. That kinda makes up for it!

    Glad you like them. Simple thing is just to wear a shorter dress and knee high boots and get a tribute band to play at the Reception. I still haven't been to a wedding so I don't really know what goes on at them.

    i havent seen WASP yet but at least you saw someone cool there! if you ever have a chance to see metal skool though - you need to go!

    I've seen this video on youtube of them and they pulled Kelly Clarkson outta the audience and made her scull a bottle of jack before singing Sweet Child o' Mine with her. Hilarious video.

    I would love to know what happened with the wedding? And yes my oh my that is a damn funny video. They should have kicked the yellow dude off stage and gave the chick some more Jack though.
